The females look much betha then in Oblivion. I will take a viking/nord. Male, I guess. Maybe female, albeit that would be the 1st time in a game I choose to be a woman.

Ladies lips look a little... poofy, though.

And is it just me, or do the male Altmer look like really old women?

Also, yes, Orks are Mer. Orsimer, to be exact. But that breaks up the whole '3 Men, 3 Elves, 3 Beasts' thing. though technically Bretons are kindov elvish too...

And I'm definitely going for an Argonian. Everyone will believe they're Dragonborn!

Hmmm Khajit look ugly as hell this time around (not that they were the best in previous compaired to mods) and Argonians look more Dragon then Reptilian.

I am dissapointed in the Drow...I like more of a smoother, obsidian complexion with my Drow, a la Drizzt Do'Urden.

There are no Drow in the Elder Scrolls. This is not DnD. Take Drizzt fandom elsewhere.

In TES4 we could change skin tone, and I guess the same will be in Skyrim.

Drizzt is the god of Mary Sues.

Drow and Dunmer are nothing alike. People see 'Dark Elf' and start derping.

How can you say that? Those gleaming ivory tusks on the Orc ladies, the silky fur of the Khajiiti females- the proud, wrinkled dewlaps on the Argonians? *pant*... Might have to make a Lifts-her-tail.

Damn those look fantastic. And my GOD the Orcs look great. I REALLY hope they did better voice acting this time though, in Oblivion all the voice acting was just terrible

I know the difference, but Dark Elves will always be Drow, not "Derp-mer"

I just gave Drizzt as an example to frame the certain area of Drow I was talking about - the Underdark Drow in particular.

Well yea they have, I read in a blog of somebody, posted via the Elder Scrolls Skyrim page on Facebook that there is at least 70 voice actors!

Will the voice acting itself may not be better, at least you hopefully wont get people in opposite ends of the map sounding the same.

Dunmer literally mean "Dark Elf" though. It's Dun(dark)-Mer(elf) in the Elder Scrolls ancient languages. Like the Orks are the Orsimer, (I'm thinking it means Stone-elf or Mountain-elf), the High Elves are Altmer, the Wood Elves are Bosmer, the Dwarves are Dwemer (Deep Elves) and the Ayleids are, well, Ayleids. Hmm...

Where I Bethesda, I would keep two things the EXACT same from Oblivion: Mi'iq The Liar (who broke the fourth wall constantly and was a way the developers discussed things with the players) and the Guard.

Dunmer - wtf Remans? Some of them look fething evil though. I like that.

Well granted M'aiq was also there for Morrowind fans. He was a necessary part I think for a quest back then
