Yeah im definitely not seeing it. Possible that we'll get a GK style release the last saturday in november. Unsire though. We'll get the new codex by the end of the year. Dont worry.

Edit: we aready know the campaign is starting the same week as the venomthrope/zoanthrope release. We also know that the name of the campaign is Shield of BAAL. I wouldnt lose hope just yet.

Yeah, I'm starting to think the same thing. We don't really NEED any new kits, so that's not so bad. Even if GW decides for some reason to nix a couple of our metal-only characters, they are at least now showing a willingness to revisit things that they skipped at the initial codex release (considering there are rumors of Vect in January, I'd be shocked if the IG and GK characters that got killed off don't resurface in the same way; ours will too, if it comes to that).

Hey th3maninblak! I've noticed throughout White Dwarf #41 that Flesh Tearers are in the foreground of the Nid photos, and two books, one with Gabriel their Chapter Master. I'm sorry my WD is out in the car as I left it on my way in to work. (hands were full of kit) anyway, I should run and get it. But I'm curious if this is some precursor to a Blood Angel release. Isn't the rumor that the Tyranids are hitting Baal?

Thats the idea. Our main rumor source put the codex release sometime in december. I personally argued against this, as there has never been a codex put out that month, but its looking like itll be true. Also, these releases are leading up to a nids vs ba campaign.

Likely Nids and first campaign book go up next week, followed by a campaign box, then a couple weeks of Hobbit in December while the Movie is big news. Then Jan having a couple weeks to cover book 2 of the campaign and then BA codex, followed by some Fantasy, like End Times book 3 in late Jan/ Early Feb.

The signs were there of Blood Angels being squatted? Seriously? An army that was *the* representation of 40k for Space Crusade, for 2nd Edition, for Space Hulk and is one of the 4 core Space Marine chapters (UM, SW, DA and BA)? It;s beyond an absurd idea.

The "no release in december" thing is obviously not an issue with new stuff popping weekend by weekend.
I must say I dont mind a codex only release.
Like many other posters have said, exept for some plastic named characters, any new kit would feel somewhat forced and uncalled for.
The characters however is an issue. When I started out with 40k, I remember associating BA with lots of diffrent and cool characters, and today there is hardly any valid models to get (due to horrible finecast, and/or ancient sculpts).

Actually that original metal one in plastic would truly be great! I still use two metal speeders.

I love the sleek design and have two of the IG version with the plasma cannon on top but no Marine one yet. FW will probably re-release it one day in resin

Yeah, I've got three in my BA successor army. Nightmare to put together. Plastic would've been lovely.
