Subject: Nerd Depression: Article Lies about Nathan Fillion and the Marvel Cinematic Universe *Updated*
Well, it's about time he got into Marvel stuff as well. Voicing Hal was always good, and I agree: he was more appropriate to play the live action than Reynolds (and I'm a huge RR fan).
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

I doubt TV series any time soon, as IIRC, his main gig as Castle has been renewed for another year. (sadly...)

"According to a mighty internet sleuth" =/= "Announced"
It's all well and good that someone has found this out (assuming it's true), but this isn't an official announcement by Marvel Studios by any stretch of the imagination.
Overrated does not necessarily mean something is bad. While it's most devoted fans tend to exaggerate its qualities by quite a bit, it didn't change the fact that it was still quite good to begin with. Just because it's not the "absolute best ever" does not mean that it is trash either.

I thought it was pretty bad.

To be fair, I think almost every sci-fi series is unwatchable. I just can't watch low budget special effects, suspension of disbelief can't make that stretch.
Also, the ship in firefly looks like a handicapped lama.

But yeah, I never understood the hype for the series, nor the actor.
Firefly was a cute show. It's not worth the hype (what could be?), but it stands out just because there tends to be so much blah sci-fi on TV. Firefly was better and smarter than the norm, I thought.
The popularity of Nathan Fillion on the other hand is completely unexplainable. He's an OK TV actor.
I didn't really think he was awesome in Firefly, but I love him in Castle.
He's also ruggedly handsome.
Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.
