I have been sourcing models for some time to build a converted gatormen army for Warmachine/Hordes. Here is my built 35-point list

Rask
Wrastler
Swamp Horror
2 units of 5 Gatorman Posse
20 Bog Trog Shamblers with Bokor

Jin designed the bases, Wehrkind cast them for me, and then I lasercut a hole in the middle of each because I decided I wanted to add base inserts (which are Dark Age's swampland theme). The raised front edge will both denote front arcs, and allow me to write the names on the bases of the converted models so that there is no confusion for my opponents whatsoever. I plan to just play this army locally with friends, not necessarily in officially sanctioned events.

The models used so far are from Privateer Press, SMOG, Mierce Miniatures, Helldorado, and Deep Wars! All I have left to build for my full list is Wrong Eye & Snapjaw (using the official models), a Bull snapper, Witch Doctor, Sacral Vault, and Swamp gobbers.

More to come!

Cool.
What's the snail looking model?

Do you have a model in mind for your Witch Doctor? If not, I have an interesting Witch model that might look cool with this group. You might be interested in finding a copy of her (I can take pics, if you want).

Going to be needing a list of these models. Especially the nautilus.

Looks like it's going to be great.

Speaking of modelling projects how happy were you with the release of those Tyranid drop pods? Tentacle goodness, thought they'd fit in with your stuff massively well.

I have sourced all the models already, but thanks very much for the offer, MM! Here is the full list, including ones which I have yet to build (list edited Dec 1st 2014):

Rask - Privateer Press
Shamblers - Privateer Press
Shamblers Bokor - Ashoka from Helldorado
Gatormen Posse - Ágriosávra, Myrkanio, and Eikovra from Mierce Miniatures
Wrastler - Canopic Beast from SMOG (this is a change, see two posts below this one)
Swamp Horror - Nautiloid Chrysalid from Antimatter Games (makers of Deep Wars)

The models I am about to build are:

Bull Snapper - Squamata Spitter from Helldorado
Swamp Gobbers - Fungiens from Imbrian Arts
Witch Doctor - Cephalid Animist from Antimatter Games
Sacral Vault - Kaairioc-cro, Sea Devil from Mierce Miniatures, Cephalid Telepath from Antimatter Games, and various bits from Reaper
Ironback Spitter - Whati from Kaha Miniatures

Just note regarding the Swamp Horror, the model normally is grasping some sort of gun, so I converted it to be holding a tree trunk instead, to fit in better with this setting.

Love the pic, Salvage

So, I've hit my first dilemma - what to use for the Wrastler? I love the Titan Master from Croc Games, but I also feel that I must use the Canopic Beast from SMOG in the army... it's one of the models that got me to start it. However, upon going to build it last night, I realized there was no conceivable way it could fit on a 40mm base. I have put it on a 50mm, and am taking both models to the store tonight to see which one people think is a better match for a Wrastler.

I think it is this model (and it also matches up nicely with my swamp horror model), in which case I'll still keep the Titan Master, but may have to wait until the gators get another big croc to make use of it (assuming it's a good match).

Thoughts appreciated!!

Honestly, as much as I like the Titan, the Beast makes a better Wrastler, and a better croc-thing. Also wow is that Beast sweet O_O

I have finished the conversion for my Sacral Vault! Note that it is based on the art for the model spoilered here, since the official model has not been released yet.

Spoiler:

I took that concept for the vault, and put it on the back of a Very large gator! See below

That's a 120mm base!

I have a few more models yet to go, and am hoping to get the last of them later this week (the squamata spitter from Helldorado, to use as a Bull Snapper).

Finally, I ordered these two models from Kaha Miniatures in France, to hopefully use as an Ironback Spitter and Totem Hunter

Stupendous conversion 'Tides, love how you've matched the chains and extended it into your additions. And bravo on utilizing a cool if somewhat awkward Bane Beast sculpt

Those really are some great model choices, and an excellent conversion. I am really excited to see this army on the table, with or without paint.

The last of the support pieces are together, along with an alternate warlock.

From left to right, these are going to be representing: Bull Snapper, Maelok (official model), Witch Doctor, and the two little Swamp Gobbers in the front. The Bull Snapper model is from Hell Dorado, the Witch Doctor is from DeepWars, and the Swamp Gobbers are from Imbrian Arts. The Bull Snapper in particular was a hard model to figure out a counts-as for, since it needed to have no weapon, and have it's mouth emphasized (this model can basically eat one model per turn, and that's it). The official model was also actually Much smaller than I had anticipated, which opened up the use of this one. It looks right at home next to my converted gatormen, too

The only other model I have left to assemble in this wave is the turtle (Ironback Spitter) whenever it arrives from France. I'm going to move ahead to the next step with the others in the interim, so will be priming and basecoating them this weekend, then laser-cutting the base labels on Tuesday. With any luck, within a week I'll have a shot of them all basecoated and labelled!

Regarding the Sacral Vault, I think Salvage nailed it by describing the giant gator under it as that "cool if somewhat awkward Bane Beast sculpt"

Thank you very much for the comments guys, it has been fantastic motivation!

Arise, my thread! I have been busy with the ModCube, but was able to carve out a bit of time this weekend to finish assembly for the last few models so that I can hopefully having them commission painted (either locally or through Dakka) this summer.

Here's the big guys all lined up, with the new additions being the first and third

The turtle looks like he's been hanging out at muscle beach, but that's OK I guess . Here they are with the other last two models I built:

The metals are Wrong Eye & Snapjaw from Privateer Press, the walking tree is a Waldengeist from Wyrd (counts-as Feralgeist), and the turtle is a Whati from Kaha Miniatures (counts-as Ironback Spitter).

I'll update with the plan for getting these painted, and I'll be making sweet labels for the front of the bases on my new laser cutter after making tons of panels for the ModCubes, of course!

They look great RiTides. The new Croc looks very mean and Whati came out very nice, I remember you commenting on a N&R thread ages ago about him.

GiraffeX - Thanks, I really love the Whati model!

Salvage - Wehrkind did, and they're awesome although if someone wants more I should probably print new masters so that he can update the molds.

Regarding Wrong Eye, can't he cast submerge to stay alive at range from shooting/magic, or is he just dying in close combat? I've been a bit worried about that possibility, too, since I'm a rookie
