Looks like it was great fun, I'm just discussing with my gaming club what we are going to be up to, sounds like Spiky's Rapid Strike one day tournament might be a goer!

Quite a few Nurgle bits for you today.

I finished off my first squad as below.



I also finished the first three guys of the second squad, I have slowly been painting them over the last two weeks. The other two squad members have to be painted with their arms separate so will take a bit longer.

These are the GW finecast squad (Plasma guy is a conversion) and I must say they are terrible, they are no where near as nice as the FW parts and they had a lot of miscasts, yeah its a bit sad when you can spot them on Nurgle marines! These were mainly bits missing from their feet and butt flaps.

I've also just started work on the Rhino for the first squad, its still in early stages at the moment.



The third Plague Marine squad wont be needed for a while so I'm not sure where that's going in the painting list.

I also decided to not play my CSM army in my big tournament (2500 points) as I dont think the codex is competitive enough without taking 9 oblits which I don't fancy doing. Instead I decided to paint up an entire Loganwing for the Dark Wolves by mid July, madness will take over this blog as that's a lot of minis to do. I think I calculated aprox 40, 33 of which will be in terminator armour.

Cheers, the colour on the plasma coils is Vallejo transparent green over a white undercoat.

I got some work done on the Rhino today, I've also put a design in to Warmill for some doors as well.

Sadly I didn't get time to paint the last two Plague Marines as I got hit by a migraine, first sight of sun today and that's all it needs to start up.

Might have to wait a while for this to get painted as the undercoat I'm waiting for is taking ages to be sent out.

The rear of that rhino is very troubling!

Its just the colour of the sculpy thats making you see things in a different light...It wasn't my intention on making it look rather rude

Once its painted green with lots of ooze and puss I'm sure you will see it differently

Na not really the tentacles come from within so it acts more like a muscle and opens for the Plague Marines to disembark all freshly covered in gunk. kind of like a backwards car wash.

I was going to say something about the naughty bits on the Rhino...but I think everyone else covered pretty well.

Awesome sculpting though!

the only thing I don't like is the way the growths just look kinda..."stuck on". Maybe make some holes in the hull and have the growths "erupting"?

The second Plague Marine squad is now finished.

Here's trooper number three, as the finecast minis didn't have as much detail as the FW ones I added some extra highlighting. Let me know what you think I may go back and do the FW squad if you think it looks better.

Thanks guys, here's another picture of the Plague Marine squad I took today in the daylight.



I've also picked up my second rhino ready to be converted to the cause of Nurgle, still waiting for my spray primer though its taking forever.

So instead of painting Nurgle vehicles I painted Skyrar of the Dark Wolves, I'll probably see what bits I have kicking round and build some more Wolves this afternoon.
