Cheers I'm hoping to paint the rest of the Wolf Guard in a similar fashion, I'm going to try and make them all look like individuals as per the fluff.

A random bunch of work in progress shots for the Dark Wolves today, I'm still not sure what to do for my other Plague Marine Rhino. One idea was to have a big weeping eye where the top hatch would normally be, let me know if that sounds good.

This ones a Wolf Guard, on the right is his Cyclone Missile launcher that's currently being converted to fit him.



All the plants for the above will be added in the next stage before undercoating.

Lastly I found another pic of Skyrar on my camera from the other day, so here she is again.

Sadly an update from me to to say there will be no update today due to a migraine taking up all my hobby time

I had loads to do as well, build and convert the second Plague Marine Rhino and also finish the three Dark Wolves as well.

I've been told my primer will be posted next week which means I can crack on with the Rhinos after they have been built.

I managed to recover in time yesterday from another migraine to paint my Sisters of Battle test model, you can find her in my imperium blog (link below).

A small update tonight.

I've finished the first of the Long Fangs as below, still need to gloss the eyes and lenses of the missile launcher but I'll do that when I have a group of guys ready for their eye make up!







The order for the Nurgle rhino doors is in so hopefully they should arrive next week from Warmill.

I don't think there's much else to report on this week, ah yes there is actually I have a tournament on Saturday so will hopefully get some pics, its just a local one so will only be three games. The camera battery's have just charged, just need to remember to take the camera now.

I still don't fancy my chances at winning any games but it will be a good day out none the less.

I've also put some feelers out to Warmill in regards to drop pod army logos for my Dark Wolves to put on the doors or actual replacement doors to make them look more chaos like. I'll let you know what I hear back, all depends on the price as well as I'm broke at the moment.

Skyrar looks awesome and severe. Just a sweet, sweet job on the face. Good luck in that tourney and don't forget that camera.

Emo Wolf Lord!

Small update from the tournie today. I'm afraid pics are really lacking due to my bad photography.

First game was up against Lamenters the army was really nicely painted but sadly I really blurred the pics so there are none
I really took a right bashing in his first turn and had two of my Rhinos and one of my Vindicators immobilised crippling my army. I thought I was done for but managed to pull back some points with my other vindi popping tanks and marines each turn but never the unit he aimed for, he even managed to take out my HQ as well!. The terminators done quite well DS'ing and taking out a Predator and frighting off two razor backs, they took a flank by themselves.

Game 2 was against normal marines no photos from this game as nothing overally exciting happened apart from my termie unit DS'ing in front of a LR and taking it out with their 3 combi meltas. I was wining well into the game and then he got lucky with his devastator squad firing rapid fire shots into my berzerker squad killing all of them.

Game 3 was against Necrons and was annihilation. Well I completed the mission tabling him. In the last turn one of my berzerker sergeants took out his last model the monolith in close combat with his powerfist which was quite cool. My two oblits had been firing two las-cannon shots into it every turn failing to do anything. The Berzerkers ruled the table this game.



I also won my first trophy for best objective markers as well, but there wasn't much competition , a trophy none the less.



So two losses and a win and .......I didn't hit the bottom table for the first time so things must be improving.

Might have another update tomorrow depends on how the second Plague Marine Rhino building goes.

Good Job, and at least you guys get some sweet trophy's!

Ok here's what I've done so far on the Second Nurgle Rhino, the centre will be painted up as a nice juicy infested eye

A new guy for you today for Skyrar's Dark Wolves, Long Fang number 2







This was using the missile launcher from the Tactical Squad which has a horrible shoulder pad mould compared to the Dev Squad version, I wont be using these again.

I've also been doing work on Long Fang number three but forgot one of his shoulder pads but I wont get round to painting that for a while so heres a few WIP Shots including my first bare head, still need to ink round the eyes but I think it went well. Thanks go to Iffy for her advice





I have also noticed my blog hasn't caught much attention lately, which makes my others even worse so I think I will be combing all my painted stuff into this thread, makes it easier for me and gives you just one to follow. I'll change the title at some point when I can think of something.

Here's a test model I done not long ago for my Sisters of the Nights Rose, first time using pigments on this lass.

Work has started on the first Death Guard Rhino. I'm currently laying down the rust levels, haven't touched the back end much yet

Cheers Git's, for some reason painting Nurgle stuff really uninspires me. Its going to be a challenge to get these two rhinos done.

Take a look at Yggdrasil's work. He does nurgle but in a pretty unique way... might give you some ideas.

I cracked on with the Rhino tonight, starting to really get into it now I can see how its progressing.

Here's a shot of the body's on top, I didnt notice the rats until I started painting. There are a few spare on the sprue so I might go back and add one to one of the plague marines bases.

Still to do bits, lights, rust effect on left side of tank, top hatches, doors which should arrive soon and water effect which I'll be adding in a bit so its dry to continue work tomorrow.

The sister is nice, I've always wanted to do a sisters army but never scratched the itch. The rhino is coming on well, I really like the corpses!

I finished the rusting on the other side of my Rhino today as below and also did the inside of the lamps as well. I should be able to get this Rhino finished over the weekend and start on the second.
