Asherian, you sound a bit like me a few years ago...when I also had a problem with girls being "slutty" and didn't like it at all. But then I realized I probably felt that way because I was angry those "slutty" girls would make out with everybody but me. So it was more my problem than their fault and deficit.

Today, I don't care. Who are we and you to judge that yellow-topped girl for being "slutty"? Too much up-front stereotyping for me. And I don't think it's particularly bad that Cosmopolitan writes about sex and has sex tips for girls - why not? Enjoying sex and wanting to have much of it is not a bad thing, that goes for boys AND girls. Just the way Cosmo sounds like their knowledge (crap written by some author after lunch because the article needed to be finished by tomorrow) is the right, correct and only true way, that's something I find mildly disturbing.

No I am fine with alot of slutty girls its just when they are all in your face about it. And No I am only interested in few girls. And That and I am attracted by a certain rare trait.

What do you mean about this statement. And what rare traits are you talking about personally when I look for a women it's someone who has a slim hour-glass figure, busty chest, large inviting eyes, small nose, is caring, fun to be around and

friendly (and yes such girls do exist).

Friendly, fun to be around, Duo Citizen, Singer that is actually good, And loves music alot more than she does other things. is basically my rare trait for girls. Plus you say the girl I like. Of course she didn't friend you. But in real life she is really really nice, and has to be the only girl that I know of that accepted the fact that alot of her friends are nerds and she is fine with that.
In your face about it is that they literally brag about it at school infront of your friends. -.-

Melissia is right insofar as comparison between the nice ladies in those both pictures is inherently flawed because of the quality of the photographs and the time invested in making it look even better - while the yellowtop girl has a standard crappy digicam-style quick photograph, the second girl was probably photographed by a semi-professional who also knew his way around photoshop.

Apart from that, blech, comparing those two girls seems flawed completely, in my opinion. Yeah, one has a "sexy" pose right there, the other one more a bit of "emotional" pose to it. That tells us JACK about how those girls are during the 23h59min that are left of their day.

I have to actually admit right now I sympathize with the yellowtop girl more than with blue-eyes. She seems to be proud of her body, and you know what? I'm proud of my body, too! And as much as I like to wear nice clothes, she should be allowed, too.

While I'm not saying that this might be false, ask yourself the question: If you'd had the opportunity to have as much sex with different hot girls as those "average american teenager girls" you mention might have with different hot dudes...could you be sure you would be not at least a bit like them? I know that my school time without a girlfriend has skewed my view on this topic and this view has been adjusted just for a few years.

Glad we agree on that basic mode of operation. I just wanted to point out that some girls might see this the same way around and, in my opinion, should not be called simply "slutty" because they can do what we might dream of.

Yeah. But slutty is now such a common term its annoying. Fine it is a major turn off for them to wear such clothing. That And they act like a bitch (jerks)

I've met quite a few girls that wear skimpy clothes (mind you they have a body that suits it as well ) and doll themselves in make-up, but are still some of the most nicest, caring and open-hearted people I've met. I find girls often have a

better understanding of things than men and are usually better listeners. Not all girls who wear revealing clothes are jerks mind you the ones that I'm using as an example aren't very promiscuous either though so they are missing a stereotyped

trait of a "slut" (oh how I hate that word ).

See, my view may be skewed. I go to a school where 1 in 4 freshman gets to at least 3rd base by the end of the year. Most of the girls who dress in revealing clothing do have lots of intercourse (We have had people have sex in graveyards. No respect.), but some are nice. And have relations with seniors.

Also, my school has a 33% smoking rate, and 75% of seniors admit to getting drunk before graduating. I love Massachusetts.

It irks me whenever I hear that word, just because they live a lifestyle where they're obsessed with sex, men and revealing their body doesn't make them any less of a person than anyone else. To me "slut" has to be one of the most demeaning

words in the English language as it pretty much implies that it's not right for women to be as into sex as much as men and having a taste in clothes that shows off lots of the body can get them labeled as a "slut, whore, etc" even if they're not

that into sex and just showing some skin. Also define what "too slutty" is for you.

What about the women who actually use the fact that they have had sex as an arguement?

No joke, in high school, I got into this argument with a girl and I sarcastically said "Oh hey, do you want a hug to make you feel better?"

Her response?

"HELL NO, What would I need a hug from you for, I just had sex last night!"

Now, I have learned my leason with the S word, I don't call many people sluts anymore. But COME ON!

Seriously, girls are human too (Possibly with an exception of Melissa) and they are just as curious as guys are. Most of em just aren't verbal about it as guys are because they don't want people thinking they are "sluts". So what if a girl reads sex tips from a silly teenage magazine? Guys watch a lot of porn, and fantasize about being able to like a porn star.

Guys,seriously...this tossing about of the terms "Slut" & "Slutty" is honestly getting old.

In my experiences, these terms are, more often than not, used by repressed individuals with a load of sexual hang ups, those who are some how jealous of others doing what they wished they could do,bitter angry individuals who seem to have zero luck in the romance department or uptight prudish folk who don't seem to be able to keep their beaks out of other peoples business.

When it comes to someone else sexuality, and the means in which they express it,so long as they are taking precautions to prevent STDs/Pregnancy and aren't harming others...it...is...no...ones...business...but...theirs.

Definetly this.

After coming back from my human sexuality class, I have to say, it would do a lot of people in this topic good to sit in on something like that. Apparently, in the US, sexual education is horrible.

I don't think that's necessarily makeup. Looks digitally altered.

She'd probably be more attractive in a normal photo than in this one, but then, I tend to think normal people are usually more attractive (or at least less ugly) than supermodels regardless of gender.

Because they want to listen to a screwed up Valley Girl with a nauseatingly helium voice try to be Lady Gaga?

But terrible Pop music is a given, and has been for all 30 years I've lived, and no doubt was earlier.

Basic Bubble gum IMO,sort of music that's been fairly popular with teen aged girls (and some guys) for decades, when I was in High School it was Madonna,Duran Duran and Wham...in 10 years it'll be some new acts.
