I will attempt to recollect my 2011 Hobby stuff ( I have to expand it beyond 40k though)
Built new 4x6' gaming table
Built my first commission terrain (20mm European village and 20mm Stalingrad:pictures are in their respective threads if interested)
Started an Early-War WW2 German army in 20mm
Started a Wild-West town and miniatures in 20mm
built and mostly painted my 40k Imperial City table (started that in 2010, another never-done project)
mostly Painted 3000 points of Catachan blobs - (boring, repetative work, but will never really be done)
Went to Games Day US for the first time
Went to GenCon for the first time
Finished my Catachan Marauder Destroyer (first Forge World model ever)
Started rebuilding the original Necromunda terrain in plasticard (again, in the thread pages 1-30, 57-present)
Acquired waaay too many new miniatures and unbuilt kits
Acquired a wet-dream's-worth of new styrene

Digging the new models!
As for what I accomplished in 2011:
- finished building my grots, which includes 20+ grots, 10 lootas, some burangrots, buggies, and a stompa!
- helped a friend with his Eldar army
- Painted some random IG stuff
Pretty short compared to other folks, but hey, it is what it is; In spend too much time rummaging through bitz boxes and lurking on dakka - not to mention we moved house which put things on hold for several months!

Two Ice Angel dreadnoughts
12 feet of frozen river for my board
46 pages worth of Ice Angel fluff, that's 46 pages in word.
