**Paradigm**

Time to choose a topic for round 52! Options below, and 2 days to vote as always.

Mad Science: Steampunk contraptions, armoured supersuits, experimental starships or whatever it is that Ork tech qualifies as are common sights in many games. Your entry should represent the stranger side of science and technology, whatever form that takes for your chosen range.

Rebel Scum: Heroic feedom fighters, dissident cultists following dark powers, sinister organisations plotting from the shadows; wherever there is authority, there are those who will challenge it. Your entry should incorporate such individuals or groups.

Mind Over Matter: Knowledge is power. Whether the mind of a wizard turned to sheer arcane destruction, the strategic acumen of a great commander or the creative genius of a master artisan, battles are often decided by those possessed of great intelligence or wisdom. Your entry should feature such individuals.

The First Steps: Every journey to greatness begins with a single step into a wider world, and before an individual can reach the lofty heights of heroism, they must struggle with matters far more mundane. Whether an adventurer on their first quest, or a fresh recruit thrust onto the front lines, your entry should feature individuals who are inexperienced rookies rather than renowned heroes.

I have something in mind for each category but want to see your basic troops so went for first steps.

**Tyranid Horde**

Voted for mind over matter, gives me an excuse for yet another Farseer to paint up.

Voted for Mind over Matter as it would give me a good variety of possibilities, but I could do something for all of them if it came down to it.
Mad Science: Tau Ghostkeel, Ravenwing Dark Talon, Negavolt Cultists
Rebel Scum: Traitor Guardsmen, Rein and Raus
Mind Over Matter: Rogue Psykers, various Librarians, Njal Stormcaller, and plenty of other character types that are fairly smart.
The First Steps: Space Marine Scouts, Imperial Guardsmen

Would really prefer Mind over Matter as I have 2 Librarians to paint up, I am not really confident about Mad Science though, unless a Space Marine power armour counts as Mad Science?

I do have Scouts that need to be painted and I've been wanting to pick up a pack of new Chaos things so keen to see what happens

Any of the Uruk-Hai, given that they are the debased fusion of orks and men? Mordorian orks given that they are the tortured and twisted result of horrifically mistreated elves?

Cheers for the suggestions chaps. Had considered some siege things as its about as close to this kind of science as you'll get, but it doesn't seem overly interesting. Maybe I can stretch something from the Uruk category to fit.

Saruman is pretty much a high fantasy mad scientist.

I have a few options for mad science so what would you like to see. From Carnevale I have the karcharos Rashaar which is part shark part man. Fallout wasteland warfare I could do some power armoured brotherhood of steel. 40k I could do tau crisis suits or some admech.
