Oh if you are in need of a Thousand Sons head let me know. I got one in a lot I won off ebay that I cant separate from the body, its wielded on I'm sure so if you fancy a challenge its yours.

Its funny tipios mentioned about using Grey Knights parts for his base I've just ordered a Grey Knight head to go on my World Eater rhino I'm doing at the moment.

The central barrel's hollow, it's just not obvious from that angle; it's ven dread ac barrel on a psycannon. And there's nothing remotely inadequate about the size of his weapon

This has also, inadvertently, provided a solution to something that I couldn't resolve: how to base my Stormraven. With the chapterhouse conversion kit, it's a bit unbalanced. Whilst trawling ebay for bits (not much luck) however, I stumbled over dead tanks and that got me thinking: how about using a Battlescape for the base, with the SR skimming the tops of the stunted trees. Is this a bonkers idea, or rather nifty? Or both ?

True, but if the other barrels aren't drilled the shells will have a very short trip from the back of them to the closed front where they will detonate and shred your cute little dreddy's arm to pieces. Drill the barrels.

A scenic base would be cool for the Storm Raven..... even more room for dead traitors lol. It would look great and give the base some much needed weight so it doesnt topple the Storm Raven

Guys, you are completely awesome. Here's where we are; bear in mind that some needs don't take into account bits I've been sent (pesky bloody post office)


Generally, needs are unsurprising: legs and torso backs. But, entire csms do overwhelm the base somewhat, so equally I have to be careful. Biker legs, regular or chaos, would be especially handy as they're at an unusual angle; raptor or assault marine legs likewise, though I doubt that's gonna happen!

I'm also planning on indicating the name of the originator, either inked on in full or Brass etched initials if name doesn't quite fit. If you have any other suggestions/requests in that regard, lmk.

Tipios as Iron Warrior dreadnought, death by NDK - done. Yeah baby.

Gitsplitta as Tzeentchy Mantis Warrior, death by dread Assault: NEED legs of some variety

Erithromycin as Dragon Warrior - missing arms/legs, though more from indecision than anything else. Currently being trampled underfoot by new Brother Captain.

BLACKHAND as a Blackhand - Mostly done. Need to make a fancy pants bolter. NEED: imperial fist pad or icon (eg from land speeder).

Briancj - Tzeentch sorcerer - as he's HUGE I'm still putting him on a Dread base, the flamer one. Going to use a warding stave (pointless blooming things) as a staff for him. plans to make armour accessories for him using a standard one and scibor bits. Going to lose his current head and replace with a 1k son one.

Yggrdrasil as Alpha Legion, missing limbs currently, though planned; think this guy's going on Karamazov's base.

Knightley as Knights of Blood - done! Death by Paladin. I'll get a pic up ASAP.

Whalemusic360 - Fallen Angel - NEED a DA pad. Missing limbs; I'm thinking about trying to make some empty robes.

MeanGreenStompa as Flawless host - Missing limbs, possibly going to stay that way as I quite fancy making him just utterly severed.

Farmboy as Emperor's Children terminator, death by Psyfleman - he's using gk and sslyth parts, so that's been an interesting build. NEED termie shoulder pads.

Metropolis as possesed - Khornate aiming for almost stereotypical devil look. NEED legs/head.

The Glass Ninja as Khorne Berserker - he's requested a chainsword, death by termie, carved up as he had his appendix out this week. How can I possibly refuse?! 

Revenant Reiko as Thousand son with Scibor bits don't know his fate but I suspect a glorious, intricate helm decorating a paladin base.

Miss Dee as Night Lord - featuring a small Lego bat, I suspect. Possibly death by incinerator.

Mabrothrax as Death Guard - I'm planning to scratch build a lot of this guy. Death by paladin, probably. I quite like the idea that he's dissolving into goo...

WarOne as pre-heresy World Eater - still head scratching but I think he's going on the base of the other Psyfleman, using one of the resin inserts from the basing kit.

DarkStarSabre as Extinction angel - I have a great arm for this guy off a Cryx soul hunter. Probably another paladin vic. NEED well the da vet techmarine pad would be awesome if anyone's got one.
 
Monkeytroll as a Noise Marine - going to make a sonic blaster of sorts out of a dread plasma cannon, I think. Beyond that, I'm stumped.

Dante XV as khornate tank commander, on the base of SR. This will either be a battlescape or just a trashed rhino. Considering having the SR actually ON the Rhino (which will be numbered XV. )

Lord Kaiser II - a slaaneshi corrupt ultrasmurf. I'm still working out what to do here, as I'd like him quite regular looking. I'm considering cutting down the front of a breast plate and adding, well, a breast on an otherwise regular looking SM. But might look very silly. Death by paladin.

Bash the Bosh as Dragon Warrior dread on base of NDK 1 - yes, it's built already, but it's entirely appropriate and he provided a number of the bits, so double score there!

GiraffeX as  Black Legion. Dismembered, I think is the way forward. An arm and a head. Maybe a wolf pelt. I'd really like to give him a long blue tongue, too.

In other news, I really need to get back into painting. Before I do the above, gms figs must I feel take preference. Oh I am utterly behind! I've also added some priming on to scenery, and promptly ran out of spray.

Not to moan, but I've not had more than 4hrs sleep in over a month, along with a somewhat rubbish time at work, and I'm really feeling fried. This mini-project, and your unflinching support, has given me such a massive boost you have no idea. Thanks peeps,

My parcel has been a bit delayed and will be posted tomorrow, its got a Thousand Sons head, Khorne Berserker head, plasma pistol arm, Daemonette arm and I think a few other small bits
