Vitruvian XVII -

inmygravenimage - lol...good idea. The colour scheme is going to be similar to the rest of the warband. Black Armour, silver highlights, Red, Gold, White, maybe a rich purple (like the crusader).

Imperial Monkey - Arrrrggghhhhh too late

Baiyuan - I'm looking forward to when you stop teasing us...show us some more pics buddy. Don't tell anyone but the seals were placed to hide the damage from where I cut the blood drop gems.

Bruticus - Thanks man. I'd say Issabella would take a dark eldar head as long as you get rid of the dark eldar neck brace/collar. She would also take a dark eldar arm swap. Her own hands are tiny and wouldn't take 40k weaponry. Hadn't thought of the shoulder angel and devil....I might work that into her back story. Perhaps the cherub plays devils advocate with her flittering from one shoulder to the other. Cheers

More pics? You were the the one who said I doesn't want to see previews of the archivist, but the finished thing. Well that will take a while, because it's Hope first.
I guessed that the seals were there for that reason, but that doesn't make them any less good looking.
What about the teeth? Did you answer that question before?

On the shoulder is better, the inquisitor taking a hint from her little spy in the rafters.
And its good to see someone else making use of the corsair gloves. Are you going to get out a double barrelled shotgun for us though? You will probably do a much better job than I did...

neil101 - I'm thinking the cherub might very well have been a gift from a former lover. Suggesting right and wrong...she wishes he had kept it.

Baiyuan - What can I say I'm contradictory...perhaps I just want to see more finished stuff from you. I thought I was forgetting something...your question. The teeth...probably get rid of them...only take three secs with a modelling knife. Hadn't really noticed them in all honesty.

inmygravenimage - Good idea but I rather like the idea of the cherub taking on both roles of "Right and Wrong"

monkeytroll - Yeah wrong thread and Scarper might cry if we remove the jumpers from his thread.

DaemonJellybaby - No double barrelled shotgun (and yours really is cool) until I get round to my Scavvy Boss....though I might use the Death Korp grenade launcher as a shotgun on the boss. Roll on June for more Nercomunda goodness

Ghostflame - Cheers dude

Hey Pete! She looks amazing - the cherub on the shoulder is an inspired touch, the two of them work really well together. The purity seals flow fantastically, and I think you've balanced out the enormous shoulders really well! She still retains a kind of vampish quality (teeth or not), but I think that really suits.

If you steal my fisherman jumpers, I may have to send you more links though

Monkeytroll - Lets go to work.

Ah somebody beat me to the idea of a shoulder angel. How about a soldier devil familiar as well?

"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. It's because we are what we are. For all our faults we stand for law and light.

I tend to disagree, isn't that breakout of evilness linked to the fact that women are in fact devils themselves, who are smart enough to hide that from you long enough to lure you deep enough into their territory?

I might not need to worry about a vent for the back of her armour.....cherub placement is everything....

What's the problem with the vent? Cut it off of something. SM/CSM backpacks, Ork weapons etc.

Baiyuan is right: You could simply cut off one of the little round parts from the side of a CSM backpack and cut off the vent from there. Also, one of the old CSM backpacks that were used during the 90s has a nice vent straight in its center. That may be worth looking at too.

Baiyuan and KrautScientist- The problem with her vent is I'm not sure what I want. I've looked at various ork weapons and marine bits but I just cannot make my mind up. I reckon that I'm over thinking it.

If you need a bigger size vent, I've punched a disk from a peice of clapboard siding plastic, then fit a slice of tubing around that for a nice vent

Hmm, I guess the only way to find out then is to put different bits on the model and see which you like best. Maybe sleep on it, then decide

Btw, here's the old CSM backpack vent I was talking about. It's on the bottom right one:

Sorry about the terrible lighting on these but it gives you the current idea.

The bluetak has raised the Cherub up a little higher than where it should be. Some of the GS looks a little rough and needs sharpening....by hey its wip. Oh and I think I quite like the square vent.

Anyway she is going back in her box until tomorrow.....or monday if I drink too much port this evening.

Like I previously said, that's one fantastic model!

One thing I only noticed now: The bones adorning her skirt may be fairly standard for a Vampire, but they istantly add a bit of sinister mystique to the Inquisitrix: One cannot help but speculate where and how she got these...

PDH, drink less port and work on her some more. You owe us that much after teasing us with the pictures

KS - The bones are those of loyal imperial servants lost to a righteous cause or are they the bones of heretics saved from the pyre to be shown as warnings to other.... I thought they added a nice sinister vibe to here whatever. If I go with the former I might use them as hexagrammic wards.

Oh and this isn't teasing...lets compare this
