The plastics are being made by Wargames Factory, who are basically making everyone's plastics except for PP, GW, and Warlord Games (the last is because Warlord uses Renedra)

A Great Podcast Interview About Wild West Exodus
Update #134 · Aug 22, 2013 · 2 comments
Hey guys,
Things are moving along great and we appreciate all the support at GenCon. Chad and Sean had an amazing time chatting with everyone and can't wait to see everyone at Duel Con in a few weeks.
We have a special surprise for all the WWX fans. The Gamers Lounge Podcast with Bill, Dan, and Spencer had us on tonight. They covered a huge amount of questions summited by their forum members and those got pointed directly at Outlaw himself.
Follow this link to listen in to almost two hours of WWX inside information from the horses mouth.
http://gamerslounge.coda.net/2013/08/21/gamers-lounge-ep-79-wild-west-exodus-ii/
We hope you enjoy what you hear and a production update will be up in just a few more days. Stay tuned for all the latest information.

Overboss Sheriff Alpha here again with the latest update, and this time it is a big one!
The Union Rail Train Is Here
Update #135 · Aug 23, 2013 · 4 comments
As a special Friday surprise we are showing off the official WWX train. Yes, it's huge and it's awesome. This baby is built to smash anything in it's path and the Union loves it. Keep in mind that in future missions all factions will be able to use the train. Some missions will even have the train played as it's own army while the two opposing forces battle it out across the table. Don't get caught sleeping because this beast will kill anyone that comes near it. Look for the train to ship with the rest of the kickstarter items when wave 1 ships out. No need to wait that extra month like we originally thought. We have worked some extra hours to make sure everyone can enjoy this monster the day they get their KS items. For people that did not grab the train as part of the KS you can find it at www.wildwestexodus.com under terrain. Have a great weekend everyone.

Overboss Sheriff Alpha here with another update:
Two Backer Created Models are now finished.
Update #136 · Aug 30, 2013 · 2 comments
With our very successful kickstarter we had a few guys that stood out among the crowd. Robert Gunter, and Sasha Tanner both made big contributions to our KS campaign to help everyone of us reach our goal.
For this they ended up getting models made with their input and design in mind. These awesome models are now finished and the rules for them will be revealed soon.
Look for both of these awesome models to be available for purchase as soon as we ship the ks items for our backers in a few weeks.
Let's not also forget about our amazing secret backer that got all of you a free model with your pledges. That gentleman will have his character finished next week and posted for everyone to see.
We hope you like what these guys came up with. We have loved building them and play testing their rules.
Have a great weekend everyone and we'll see you in a couple days with our production update.
In Jesse We Trust

Overboss Sheriff Alpha here again with another update, this time straight from the Kickstarter comments section:
Creator Outlaw Miniatures, LLC on Aug 28
Hi guys,
Sorry to take so long to reply on KS. As you know we have moved all of our staff over to our official website or to facebook. We just don't want questions in all kinds of places because that is how we will miss something.
Just to clear things up about the comic. The comic is not totally going away. Actually we plan to release 1 large graphic novel each Christmas starting with Christmas 2014. For everyone kickstarting our project you will all receive 3 comics with the limited edition covers as promised. You will also receive the first novel from WWX a $11.99 value as a freebee for the 3 comics not coming.
The main reason we changed this is because our fluff is so vast that we could not possibly fit it all in comics. The first book alone is over 300 pages. The second and third books coming out in November and December of this year are over 300 also. That's 900+ pages of fluff before January 1st. As you can imagine we could not fit all that goodness into 20 page comics.
What we are doing is making plans on doing annual graphic novels to tie in new story lines and cool models. The graphic novel is slated at 50 pages or so and will also feature new concept art and other goodies. Again this will go into print around Christmas 2014 so next year guys.
Also look for 5 books this year from WWX. The Jesse James novels and the Lucinda Loveless series. Oops, I just game something away.

Actually novels sounds like a pretty good move. While I originally gakked on this campaign, they're doing a lot more to bring me into their corral. Much like a wild mustang, I'm waiting for some poor sod to try and throw a rope around my neck to tame me .
I should check out the model I got from AdeptiCon again see how sci-fi-ish she is, as that is my only complaint about the models. Like too much steampunk (i.e. rivets, goggles, etc...) is a bad thing, too much sci-fi I feel is also a bad thing.
Hey Outlaw! Time to start showing real models and not the 3d renders, let us see the goods!

Overboss Sheriff Alpha here with the latest - this time straight from the Official Forum for WWX:
by Outlaw » Fri Sep 06, 2013 12:21 am
So let me get you guys some info so you know what to pass along to the masses.
There is only one container at this point. By the looks of things and how production on the books and plastic is going we should be leaving China on September 18th or just around there. That would put the container in Long Beach California a few days after October. Our guys here in the US will already be prepared for the arrival so boxes will be pre packaged with Resin models and anything else we are doing in the states.
This means that as soon as the container is opened we will start putting sprues in boxes and shipping out the goods. For our UK and EU backers you will have the same type of set up. The difference will be that instead of shipping everything together in one box you will get two shipments. The first will be the MAS buildings and the second will be the actual game contents.
The order will more then likely fall like this. US, Mexico, and Canada will start seeing tracking numbers and packages sometime in October. At around the same time UK, EU, and OZ customer swill start seeing MAS buildings arriving. Soon after the main box will arrive.
I will tell everyone a truthful fact. The Battle Foam bags and art book will not arrive for another 2 months. The main reason for that is the container size and logistics. We filled the first container with rule books and plastic and had no room for the bags. This means the remainder of the art books and the bags will be coming on our November container in time for Christmas. Don't worry, nobody will be charged extra shipping. We plan on taking that cost on ourselves because it's our fault it could not fit.
Don't forget that as soon as the container form China leaves we will post the vessel number and ship details so you guys can log into the online ship tracker. This will show you a by the minute view of the exact location of the boat on the water. No BS here, cause Jesse would not approve.

Gotta give them credit. I didn't back partially because I had a bit of KS burnout, partially because I didn't care for the game, and mostly because of who was involved with the project. It's good to see it's going smoothly (for the most part) and that communications are solid.
Also the mini I got at Adepticon was amazing. Makes me wish I'd picked up a couple of the models I was thinking of just for painting.

TL;DR: So currently we stand at 98% finished with the entire KS project. Production Update #3 Sept 16th. We are almost there everyone!!!! Ok so we are a bit excited right about now. As you can see from the latest updates and facebook posts we just released Lawmen to round out all 5 armies from the kickstarter. We never planned on doing this but we knew our fans wanted it so we put in the extra hours and it paid off. Lawmen will ship with everyone's backer rewards early next month so if you like them add them via the wwx website asap. Just like the first two updates we will break everything down into section so you guys know exactly what is going on at each production stage. Please don't forget that you can email us any questions you have at info@outlawminiatures.com or go directly to www.wildwestexodusforum.com to see the latest and greatest going on with the WWX world. Media - 98% finished - The Rule Books are almost finished and will be getting packed for shipping early next week. Both the Mini Rulebook and Hard Cover Rule Book look amazing and total out to 300 pages for the main and 64 pages for the mini. The main has all the fluff, hobby tips, and enough stories to keep you busy for weeks. The mini rule book is a clean and direct look at the rules that you can keep in your official WWX gaming bag. These will be on a boat to America in just a few short days. In-House Resin - 99% finished - All of the master molds and models have been finished. Not just the ones for kickstarter but the ones for Lawmen also. These are looking amazing and many of you have seen the quality in person at GenCon or even in your own hands. With Kyle The Black, McClain and Ironclad you have seen an early preview of what your rewards will look like. I think everyone can agree that these will be top notch models that you will be proud to paint and play. China Plastic - 95% finished - Yes, you are seeing that correctly. China is 95% done with all of our plastics. They heard our requests to get the project done on time and they have busted their butts to do it. Many hard working people stayed up very late to get this done for all of us. As of right now all of the model sprues are finished. We are simply waiting on the main WWX tokens to round out the project and being mass production. Don't let that worry you since injection molding thousands of parts only takes a few days at best. We have been told that these items will all ship in the next week or two at the latest. With a short 3 week trip across the ocean it should put us shipping to you guys by mid October. Of course we will keep everyone posted on everything from the container number to the boat it is packed on so you can trace it via ocean freight websites. This way everyone knows when these babies hit the US. Accessories - 100% finished - Micro Art Studios did an amazing job and actually got the terrain done early. The UK warehouse has all of the terrain ready and waiting for the other items to arrive. The US will be getting their goods in just a few days. These look awesome and will ship on time with everyone's other rewards. So currently we stand at 98% finished with the entire KS project. It has been a long run and we can't wait for you guys to get your rewards. We know you will love them once you see them. Please follow us on facebook at https://www.facebook.com/WildWestExodus Or become a memeber of the official forum at www.wildwestexodusforum.com "In Jesse We Trust" Outlaw Team This KS has been executed very well so far, gotta hand it to them.
