Hey Gary, why is there a roll of toilet paper right beside your bed? I mean, most guys I know use tissue or paper towels to clean up paint spills....

No Doom? No DOOM?! I have three marvel legends Dr. Dooms (the toy biz doom and the doom-bot variant and the hasbro Doom) the Marvel icons Doom, the origin statue, a mini Alex Ross head bust of doom, the famous covers Doom, another statue of Doom, and the marvel select Doom. No Doom indeed. Who do you take me for?

Wasn't quite the angel I was going for lol. I really should have said "paint" spills and commented on your pretty calendar but your explanation was much more interesting than my allusions.

I'm at a loss for words at how many people paint that close to their computer/keyboard/expensive electronics/what have you.

I simply couldn't do it.

Why not? Do you really get that much paint all over the place when you're working on a mini? I don't know what the big deal is. (I do, however, keep my airbrush a long way from anything valuable.)

Ditto, plus it makes it much easier to follow along with a tutorial, or steal er um, COPY somebody else's design/color scheme.

Aye, glass cleaner. It comes in a fairly large spray can and I spray it into a cloth to clean my glasses.

Of course, why spray a solvent onto a cloth just to clean glasses

Nice, that totally is a slot car track behind the gate!

These were taken a few years back, so the only things that have changed is the amount of messiness.

I don't really have a room but I do have a Painting tray that I move from place to place as I see fit.
Mostly I paint in the family room in front of the TV.
I keep whatever doesnt go on the tray in a couple of boxes in my bedroom.

Oh, and Rangerrob gets a big thumbs up for having an old old old skool Battletech Battlemaster "blueprint" poster! I've still got mine from back in the day, but haven't managed to put them into frames yet because I don't really have a place to hang them.

We generally prefer it if users refrain from digging up old, old threads. This one however might be of interest to people, and we will have had new members who have joined since this thread initially clawed its way forth from the fecund environs of the internet, like some bastard offspring of Frankensteins' monster and "Changing Rooms". So we'll keep it o'er for now -- although it's probably best worth avoiding quoting or referencing posts from much earlier in the thread. Thanks.

Excelled her power; the gates wide open stood
