I might as well. My fiancee made this for me since she got bored one day.

I try to keep it clean. It's going to need a vacuum soon, since it's got basing sand all over it.

The rest of the room isn't actually a gaming room, I just get that little corner.

Burglars can sue you if they fall through your skylight. There's one rule for shooting people and booby traps: there can be only one witness. So burglars stop breathing.

Its so clean!
I like it! I could not stand working in some of these cluttered areas (not to bash on you that do; as they say "whatever floats your boat" )

Even if I clean, after one day of working it is a cluttered mess again. I think my desk is a mirror of my thought process, which jumps all over the place while I work.

Yeah I hear that, I have a terrible tendency to move from project to project as new ideas spring to mind. This tends to lead to half built squads sitting for days, half painted everything sitting for weeks... and of course large portions of the contents in my bitz box migrating from one spot to another on my desk at all times.

The worst mines gotten is having basing sand all over it which I need to vacuum, and the odd extra model on it that's not being worked on (like the vampire count, corpse cart and Salamander in that picture). All bits are kept in tackle boxes and models, wether finished or not, either in my case or on a shelf (since I'm waiting for more foam trays).

Kill the mutant...er...burglar, give 'em concrete shoes, and take 'em for a swim. It's not like they went and told the cops "Hey, I'm gonna go rob this guy's house, so if I don't come back within, say, two hours, he might have killed me. Okay?" And when the body hits the shore, there's nothing (presuming that you didn't leave any hair/tissue/other DNA) linking the person's death to you. Hell, even if you're careless and leave something with the body, there's no case without probable cause. Again, it's not like he was advertising it...

I've done a lot of thinking on this matter.

Wow...three things jump out at me after looking at this thread:
1) We are such nerds. GJ everyone on your action figure/scifi book collections

2)I am not the messiest hobbyist out there! Yay!

3)Wait, were there three? Oh, right...I'm kinda jealous of the spaces some of you have. Even if I took over my entire basement I would still have less hobby area than some of you...and then I wouldn't have a tv area.

Well, I'll try to get some pics for you guys to peruse later.

Going to throw a pic of my workspace here as well to share. This is an older pic I had from a few months back. Since then I've upgraded my airbrush equipment, got rid of the printer on my top shelf and sold the Logitech G27 steering wheels and pedals (seen under the desk) so my workspace is a bit cleaner overall. The Ultramarine honor guards and Warmachine figs seen in the pic are still unpainted though.

Heh yeah I used to game a bit more. Those were the Logitech G27's which were some of the best wheel/pedals around. I got bored of of it after awhile though and ended up selling them.

As i have just moved, i thought i'd share my new hobby room. With a little persuasion that keeping it all in 1 room will keep the rest of the house tidy, the GF agreed, and i'm real happy. Only moved 2 weeks ago, so its still a bit of a mess...

And I need a paint rack =p

Oh I hate would hate myself if my stuff looked like that (not that it is bad, just not my style)

I think I rearrange my collection of stuff more then I do build or paint, and it is neat and organized, I just feel certain things belong in other boxes that day or something.
