Victory? Using Kharn to slaughter -everything in a Deathwing army. Two venerable dreads, then nine terminators by himself (many of them TH/SS ones), and finally Belial himself. He only took one wound. From his -own- plasma pistol.
Entertaining? Rolling all ones for shooting with my Obliterators at a green tide horde army for a full round and almost frying them to death with plasma overloads. Good thing they have 2 wounds. We laughed a lot at them goofing themselves into plasmicide when they -should- be performing against the approaching wall of doom.

In Boxing matches, you actually get paid to take a dive and make the other guy look good.
In Warhammer 40K, you're expected to pay cash out of your pocket for the privilege of having Marines and IG trample all over your Xenos/Chaos. |

2 chaos space marines tied up a squad of 10 fire warriors on the only objective the tau had, the combat lasted for 3 turns, with neither side taking a casualty, as the point was contested, I won as I had just one objective.

Emperor's Champion Talbot and his bodyguard of 5 Swordbretheren TH/SS Terminators assaulting Lemartes and 8 Death Company out of a LrC. Talbot went right to Lemartes and slew him and the SB bounced all of Death Company's attacks and killed them all in one assault phase to clear an objective in the botton of t4. Incredibly nasty rolls on my part.

Is this even possible? Lemartes is an upgrade character, not an Independant character. I don't have the BT codex handy at the moment, so I'm not sure of the specifics of the rule that allows the EC to go mano a mano with other characters.. but I'm pretty sure he can't do that. But yeah, it is totally feasible to slaughter the DC and Lemartes with Terminators and the Champ.

Slayer of Champions does specify Independent Characters. It was played incorrectly, but in my defense it was the other player that invited the gesture so I assumed Lemartes was an IC.

Played a 500 point game, where the last 2 models on the field were my guardian with a scatter laser, and a black templar chaplain in terminator armor with 1 wound left. It was a tie based on kill points, but such an odd end to the game. Opponent had fantastic armor save rolls all game.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

I had a single terminator take on a 5 man SS/TH terminator unit and managed to tie the game. Before the game started I told my opponent that that one specific terminator will either win or tie me the game.

I'm playing an objective game with my friend, who is a vanilla SM player. I manage to plop a Terigon on an objective and guard it with some Hormigants and Hive Guard. So, I try to contest the other objective with my Devilgants while my Raveners, Trygon Prime, and Hive Tyrant try and top some of my friends guys trying to take the objecive. He moves over with a Rhino and unloads a tac squad with heavy bolters and tear apart my devilgaunts. My six Raveners won't stand for his. On the next turn, they charge and get 6 kills, the SM squad doesnt even manage to get one wound. They fall back, and they all get obliterated in a sweeping advance. So on the last turn, he shoots the raveners and then charges. Once again, they take no wounds and devastate the charging tac squad, winning me the game.
I was very proud of my raveners after that

"What's your most humorous victory and/or 40k moment?"
not a victory moment as i lost the game... but this weekend i played a SAG for the first time, heck i fielded 2.
i ran a shooty ork list 3 groups of 7 lootas 2 sag, 9 big guns and some grots for holding stuff and 2 deff dreds as troops
rolled first sag roll of the game wiped the sag and a most of one group of lootas rest ran off the table also killed 2 lobbas and the last one ran away
turn 2 on other sag again took out most of a group of lootas who also ran off the table, and a zzap gun was lost.
it was to much of an orky moment i lost and badly but i technically killed mroe of my own kill points for him than he did
later that day same list the game of C & C comes down to my grots on 2 objectives IG player rushes his LR in and tries to tank shock my deff dred to get closer to the objective on one and tried the same with a chimera on another. both deff dreds call death or glory and immobalise both tanks first time ive ever been ramed and first death or glory i ever got to use and on the last turn

Eh, I rarely get to play 40k, I thought the fact that the Raveners survived 2 rounds of cc and a round of shooting had some novelty to it.
Hm, really? No sweeping advance? I thought ATSKNF allowed for Space Marines to fall back, but automatically causes them to rally the next turn, thus making it possible to hit them with a sweeping advance?

If you sweep them, they just take hits as though they were fearless instead of getting wiped out.

My favourite of all time is one from 3rd ed, which still makes me smile.
It was at the height of the broken mess that was CSM 3.5.
A sirenlord daemonbomb army.
This thing had cleaned up at several tournaments and was hated by all.
Then come the Sisters of Battle...
He charges across the battlefield, smack talking all the time, saying how he's goint to tear them apart.
when he gets within 12" the whole army (who have been manoeuvring for just this occasion) opens fire.
CSM player shouts "you can't do that!"
SoB player points out that he is immune to siren, and wipes out the sirenlord.
Much laughing ensues from all the spectators as the CSM player throws a huge tantrum.

Most badass momment with guards, squad takes out a trygon wich poped up with the intent of munching some HW. 18 last shots, killing blow from the sergeants laspistol, probebly the weakest weapon in the game grot guns aside...
With Raven guard, deepstrike shrike with a sqaud of AM, whole squad dies on arrival due to over 150 lastshots. Shrike charges the blob, and kills them all in sweeping advance.
Worst ever... lone Nob biker races across battle field in a last ditch attempt to contest objective. Despite 4 HW teams of HB, a vanila leman russ and 25 guardsmen shotting him, he takes out the tank and contests objective.

A weaponless Immolator tank shocks the big scary unit... and he fails Ld and falls back.
