I'm loving it all, though I HAVE to make one complaint about the Archon: The lack of a helmet! I personally like the non demon-y helmet, and one of the things I just dislike about GW models is how EVERY "special" person has to be helmetless-ESPECIALLY Terminators! Your ARMOR has a 2+ armor save, not your damn skull!

In 40k, the more badass you are, the less you need a helmet.

Didn't you know? All Terminators have a 2+ armoured skull. Because they're speccc marines.

Ugh. When are they going to make Chaos terminators scary again? At this point they're going to need to give them a rule like "re-roll everythign until you successfully kill the enemy model" to make them scary again compared to filthy loyalist termies...

Impressive.

I wouldn't of thought turquoise and orange would work well as a colour scheme, but you've proved me wrong.

The Raider is my favourite, love the sail icon and how it just jinxes past the tree.

Awesome bro, you going to post the greys up or only the painted WIP's?

As promised - here is a taste of my reaver unit - about 50% done for the other 2 in the unit so far.

It is yet to be attached to the base - it is tempting to magnatise it - opinions?

Magnetizing is always good.

Otherwise the Reaver looks amazing but it could use some orange to tie it in with the rest of the army.

I went back and did add some orange as an after thought. The rest of the unit has way more. Not to worry.

The tree on the archon comes from the dryad kit :3

I definitely agree: magnetise them.

It will make transport easier, and they will not fall off.

New update, been way too long. but I would be remiss if I didn't let you know that I reached 1000 pt's.

I have a raider in the wings just needing the crew to be completed - very excited.

I'm really happy about the update. This is still the most characterful Dark Eldar army I've seen.
Beautiful and cohesive painting and awesome conversions.

Absolutely in love with everything about your army. The colors (very halloweeny), the name (love unique names), and the models. Keep up the good work. Subscribed.

How exactly did you get that tree to balance that raider?

@Iandroid: It doesn't actually balance well at all - lol - I need to magnatise it or pin it so its not constantly falling off the tree...

It has a Casket of Flensing! Hence the gribble in the tree...

I like this (specially being I made my Haemonculi and Grots out of Dryads ), you've done it reasonably subtley and painted it well.

quick update - no pictures sorry... but I just start (and almost completed) my Razorwing Jetfighter. I even magnetised the giant tree on its base for easy transport. All the base colours done for the RWJF - pictures to come.

Removable tree!

Had to have a magnetised tree for transport reasons... also all the missiles and weapons are magnetised and can be swapped... pretty happy with how it turned out

Up to.... 1232pts with this new addition... pretty exciting - next push I think a unit of 10 scourges and a venom for my trueborn is in order.

Thoughts? Suggestions on next army update?

Oh! I also have arranged to swap my finecast Incubi for some of the new incubi but in metal. So they need a raider or a venom themselves... and then round it out with 2 ravagers.... and I'll be happy I think.

Now here's a blog with a nice colour combo of teal and orange. The tree motif is really nice too.

I'd say Scourges, would like to see what you'd do with the wings.

Not since the dawn of man has anyone witnessed anything as amazing as the creation of fire, and now, you have surpassed even that. Your voidraven is outstanding. I would love to see how those scourges are going to come out. I'd also love to see you do a squad of Incubi. Keep up the amazing work and I will keep posting.
