Welcome to the interwebz, Ms.Black.
However, in all seriousness, this is really ridiculous. As much as I laughed (which was nearly to tears) I find it to be another reason why I should create Skynet. A girl wants to become a popular singer, and people act like they were just spoon-fed a big helping of HERESY!!.

Metal involves guitarists who learn how to play up and down a scale over and over until they can do it really quickly, thus are considered "musical" because they learned how to perform a certain trick, but its still just a formula it gets plugged into. Toss on some skull tattoos, goaties, and the obligatory long hair or bald look instead of a boob job and flashy outfit and you add the last touch to the formula.

While there is some truth in that, metal can be more diverse than that. The first wave of British Heavy Metal (Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, etc) was very similar to hard-rock in sound with many

blues rock and psychedelic rock influences. It wasn't until the new wave of British Heavy Metal that metal became really notorious for it's high speed (sure early heavy metal was fast for it's time but so were

other genres like hard-rock) also blues influences were now replaced with punk influences. Speed metal was also created around this time but quickly declined due to the popularity of it's more aggressive

cousin thrash metal (which would influence Death and Black metal). Power metal is the other branch of speed metal but it is more known for it's softer sound. Not all metal is characterized by fast guitar solos

Doom metal has an extremely slow tempo, a "thicker" sound and this music often evokes a feeling of despair. Also the clothing style is often reflective of the fashion during that decade as well as the

sub-genre they're playing, but not every metal singer wears 3 shades of black and spiked clothing.

Heavy Metal can be simple, or complex. Paying a basic riff very fast, isn't all that hard. Playing a complex riff very fast is very hard, and generally is only done by truly skilled musicians.

It's not always about speed though. Really, I like Metal bands like Dream Theater and Opeth best.

I've found that I don't particularly like most modern rock/metal, and prefer classical and orchestral types of music. Of course, I recognize that it's important not to stereotype, so I'll listen to any song once before passing judgement.

I like silly songs, like Wierd Al, or any of the TF2 related ones like "Piss" by Sniper, "Im yo Medic" by The Medic, and lets not forget "Baby" by Heavy Bieber.

Of course this is not counting Metal, or one off songs from singers I don't usually like; I.E. Katy Perry.

Disclaimer: I did NOT write this, I just thought it would be funny to share another similar thing I found. I repeat, it is only for a laugh. If a mod want's me to snip it, I will. Or feel free to delete it.

Let’s begin with the very name of the song, ‘Friday’. The name of this day of the week, which follows Thursday and comes before Saturday (Sunday comes afterward), which is the sixth day of the week. 6 being the number of the beast.

In the opening scene, Rebecca wakes up from bed and sings about having her daily “bowl” and cereal. As we move on to the next scene, we notice that her family in the back is moving unusually fast. These are all signs which indicate that she’s on some type mind controlling drugs.

Rebecca ponders on which seat to take; the front seat (the leader role), or the back seat (the follower). Rebecca, being the puppet of the Illuminati, chooses the backseat, of course.

In the second car shot, Rebbeca seems to have finally made up her mind, and she appears to be sitting in the backseat right in the middle of her two friends, who are, coincidentally, both wearing red dresses and have braces, symbolizing the blood and restraint she will have to go through as she transform into a mindless puppet.

On our right we have one of Rebecca’s “friends” whose uncontrollabe (based on her arm movements) glee doesn’t match the activity or emotion of the moment, on our left we have her other friend whose horrified expression speaks to the dilemma of the soul when one chooses to enroll in Satan’s army. They truly are the angel and devil on her shoulders.

To whom is Rebecca pointing? The viewer. And to what purpose? The acquisition of your soul.

When Rebecca does finally arrive at the party she’s excited for we find it mostly populated by teenagers like her, this represents Limbo and the fact that their souls are still up for grabs. Now it just depends on who gives to them first, the dark or the light.

Need we explain who this is?

Satan.

In all his glory. Fast cars, expensive jewelry, he’s there to entice the millions of unsuspecting teenagers to give up their families and futures for an eternity of damnation.

Seriously, I have always loved Charlie Sheen's work... his latest rants are comparable to those made by many other stars.

Eg. William Shatner, Liz taylor (RIP), Hasslehoff...

Heck, even Sean Connery admitted he used to beat his wife when their tempers were high.

honestly It really annoys me when my freinds see a song on a music channel, and immediately go "CHANGE IT!!!" because it's by an artist they haven't heard of, or sounds different.

More or less. I can't take listening to music were all I hear is hate, or just some stupid beat. I will give things a chance, but when I try to show a different type of song to a few of my friends who only listen to metal, they can't enjoy it for some reason, probably because the songs are uplifting...

Oh, well that's alright then.
