Absolutely metal (chipped like the rest of the orange armor that I did already) cause they are Harder! 
I'm working now on the structures for a few boyz, I'll fill the armor with GS when I have enough of It.
Not sure that this metod will work on my already painted boyz tough.
What do You think?

Then will be the 'alf truk turn. I can't wait to give a go to some proper conversion stuff, but I want to have at least the bigger mob done.

Nice work! For the squares, try getting a fine micropen, it helps no end making the squares, well, square Lovely the amount of detail, they're gonna look great when finished!

As I zoomed in on the shoulder pads, the black and white squares looked a bit off. Logical, since it's WIP. You can correct those with a very fine pen, that's all I was saying
