Well, the theme is "treacherous terrain from Paradiso". The actions on that planet range from jungle, to city, to even space boarding actions. So lots of treacherous terrain to choose from.

The consensus was that "most" people think 'jungle' when they think of Paradiso, so tailoring your submission to preconceived motions about the planet might help you with votes.

Or at least that is my interpretation of the conversations we have had on this topic in this thread...

thanks for the reply should have the model by Thursday woooo.

I'm glad you got something! And yep d-usa has it spot on, that's the best advice.

And I just received the first completed entry! Their first Infinity miniature and they loved it so much they couldn't put it down!

I'm going to have to bow out, I don't have enough time around my exams to finish O-Yorio off. Oh well.

I wish I had time for all the game systems I own, let alone want to own...

That's a real shame motyak! You should try and finish it in your spare time anyway, who knows maybe you'll manage without putting any pressure on yourself!

So we have a decent amount of entries!
I always like to see what other folks have done with Infinity; gives me some inspiration, that's for sure!

Know what I'd really love to see....? Someone with a very clever paint scheme to show Camouflage in action

That was actually the last place I called but no single models only the boxes so I ordered one up. My package arrived today and I plan to spend the night painting now that i have the scheme planned out. I gotta find somewhere to make my wood rectangles into wood ovals tomorrow lol i borrowed my neighbors tablesaw to get the rectangles after talking the construction crew into handing over a piece of scrap wood, spent 15 minutes trying to figure out how to make it go up and down lol levers everywhere!

Glad things seem to be progressing well folks! And there is still enough time for new entries to take up the challenge.

If you don't do anything else in the next 24 hours please convince one other person to enter!
The more friends that you can get to participate the better fun it'll be come voting time. If all your Dakka buds are already involved then feel free to ask outsiders, hopefully they'll stick around too!

In addition, please copy and paste the text below into your blogs, threads and signatures to help spread the word.

Go forth and multiply!

Thanks folks!

I'm afraid I'm pulling out as well as I don't have enough time spare next weekend to do the base.

I did finish the mini though which you can find below.

I'm sorry to hear that GiraffeX, as Victor said, it looks like you were pretty much done.

I'm just ironing out the final details with entrants 2 and 3. Don't panic though, still loads of time left. How are you all coping?

6 entries so far but only 2 accepted. Please check your emails if you've sent in your entry already.

The issues are all about dimension so if you haven't finished yet please double check you are using the image dimensions given in the OP so I can put you straight in the finished pile.

Per my PM, Casey's Law, I sent a picture asking if it would be accepted, but haven't heard back yet. Can you let me know if I should make alterations? Thanks!

I hope everyone is having fun, I expect a lot of people will be making heavy use of this weekend to finish their entries. If you are going to work up to the deadline please make sure you follow the entry rules so I can accept your entry without issue.

I'm still waiting on a couple of replies from people who need to fix their dimensions but most situations have been resolved.

What programs alter the size of an image in pixels? Probably a stupid question but I really have no idea.
