Are there US dealers for Infinity figs? If I have to order them from the UK I'm wondering if they'll get here in time...

Ahh.. this looks fun.

I'll see if I can et my hands on an infinity model or two and make a little something.

I have a little hobby-thread going in the P&M section. Some say it's the best blog on Dakka, some don't agree, most belive it would be better if I finished at least one project some time this century and not just kept starting new ones.
Check it out, you just might like it.

Glad you are on board Gitsplitta! And it sounds like everyone is getting their miniatures sorted out.

@motyak - Yep, if you need to contact me I'm available via private message but if it's urgent or you need to attach an image then you can contact me from the email address in the OP.

After some frustrating days I have managed to locate a local retailer that stocks Infinity, ofc it's a bit tricky to get there (why oh why did I sell my car!) using the metro but I'll try to get there asap and pick up something paintworthy. Let's get this show rollin'.

Got my minis yesterday. Ye gods but these things are tiny! I can't even SEE that small!

Time to break out that not often used "Insane Detail" brush. I scored some kind of HMG-toting, jumppack-jumping, heretic-scourging templar-thingy.

I bet by the end of this Corvus are going to have quite a few more fans! Those tiny details are addictive!

Lots of time still to go so if you're just stumbling on this now or you're lurking around trying to decide whether to enter just jump in! And remember to invite your friends, it's all about enjoyment so the more entries the better.

While I'm here I thought I'd post a reminder of our awesome sponsors:

Corvus Belli are the creators of Infinity. Clearly their work speaks for itself! Check out their website for more Infinity goodness.

zariart produces amazing custom airbrush products of all kinds. Click on the logo above to see more bit here is a taster:

Shae-Konnit is the 'Split Box Leftovers' king. He splits up Infinity products so you can buy the multipack miniatures individually, check out his Dakka thread here. He also sells the miniatures as they come! With cheap shipping internationally, this is the best way I've found to add miniatures to my army or even to buy full forces.

Hi All,

I've just signed up for dakkdakka after learning about this contest. I'm a huge Infinity fan so this is perfect. With only two weeks left I'm not sure if I can finish a mini in time, but I'll certainly try!

Welcome in Century1! I hope you enjoy Dakka, we have a good Infinity crowd around here.

Loads of time Silver, you'll be fine! How are all you other entrants getting on? I'm not getting many emails or pms which is probably a good sign! Don't be scared to ask though, I don't bite.

Just the base as the last major thing to go, then just cleaning up bits and bobs where I slipped up and what not while highlighting etc.

I wish I had time for all the game systems I own, let alone want to own...

You might want to edit out anything that could give away your entry STC! Haha!

I'm glad you're all getting stuck in! Some just starting, others almost finished but there's no rush, lots of time left.

While you're painting away I'll try and get the Terrain and Beginner Thread OPs revamped in the sub forum to somewhat repay your endeavours.

I'm sorry to hear that Victor, the game has still to reach a lot of places. If you have time to wait on delivery I believe the warstore carry Infinity and you could check with Shae Konnit, he might be able to deliver quickly enough for you.

Can anyone help Victor out with a source for Infinity miniatures in Philly?

The Warstore is your "best bet" for Infinity.

There is also Atomic Empire Games which might not have everything that The Warstore has.

I should have mentioned that both of those locations are not in Philadelphia, but rather just the two largest retailers that I know of.

Atomic Empire is my 'local' shop, but a good hour away.
The Warstore generally has everything in stock first here in the US.

I know Empchild has Infinity stuff for sale; but I've not bought from him.
I do not know if Mikhaila has Infinity stuff in stock at his Showcase Comics stores(which are actually in Philadelphia if I remember correctly). You could PM Mikhaila and ask him.

OK, I'm ordering a model now! XD just to be certain the goal is treacherous jungle terrain/theme correct?

Well, the theme is "treacherous terrain from Paradiso". The actions on that planet range from jungle, to city, to even space boarding actions. So lots of treacherous terrain to choose from.

The consensus was that "most" people think 'jungle' when they think of Paradiso, so tailoring your submission to preconceived motions about the planet might help you with votes.

Or at least that is my interpretation of the conversations we have had on this topic in this thread...
