I like a lot of things about the mini, my favourite part is his owl (servo-owl?). Looking forward to the moonlit paintjob.
Life for you sounds excessively busy. I hope they pay you well for your 60 hours! Its hard to get even 20 hours work over here but I wouldn't want to swap. Makes it easy to understand how quiet your thread has been. Hope it all comes right for you.

Wonderful work as ever Migs The nurgle lord conversion looks awesome, and the mix of grey knight and blood angel bits for the main character flows seemlessly...I had much a similar idea myself but you've done it better then I could hope to... haha

I really like all the new miniatures you are creating, also your new Inquisitor Lord.

If I was to give any critique it would be that the owl seems a bit plain/dull and doesn't live with the very action and character packed inquisitor you have created. The paint might lighten it up, else some greenstuff on the owl could make it more interesting.

Migs, there simply aren't words for how much your work has inspired me. Every conversion you turn out is a work of art in its own right, and it's an internal battle for me to temper the level of inspiration I get from you so that I don't just end up copying everything you make.

You'll have to get moving to have a playable force by 6th ed! Definitely a good goal to shoot for, though.

Thanks ever so much for the positive comments. Often times I just do my thang and that's the reward really. I share for people who have shown an interest, but this time, what with the brake and so much stuff going on, I really needed the feedback and encouragement.

The owl is from Wood Elf Dryads, has a tiny bionic eye and will be painted with that Owl like dual-tone scheme that makes that face shape so cool. I think it'll be interesting when done, perhaps with a sight sheen of light from the bionic eye.

Even when your posts go dark for a while, it is always worth checking whenever you get the time to post up hobby goodness.

Your stuff is staggeringly good. It is always a pleasure to see what creations have popped into your head.

Side note, bummer about the lamps.

Remember the blog is far more a tool for you to record your work and express yourself as it is for us to gawp at it. Even if you update it less than you like you shouldn't feel the need to feel guilty about it.

I'm continuing work on his Henchmen now. The robed guys with DE two handed blades, I've posted earlier in the +I+ trilogies galleries. Death Cultists. I really like the conversions, but have so far failed to find the right head - and I consider finding and positioning the right head as most important part of a conversion. I've used Wood Elf archer hooded heads very successfully with flagellant torsos in the past, but before I go the tested route, I try to see if there is an alternative.

The BA sanguinary guard death mask heads would've been perfect where they not so big, and I don't have the guts or time now to try and sculpt some myself.

And that fething duo of lamps is still not here....

Migs what about the plastic Empire wizard head, the one with the Egyptian like mask? Trim that chin down...maybe GS a mouth, it'll be very similar to the BA mask?

I'd second the empire wizard head. Alternatively would one of the blank domed dark eldar heads be creepy enough if you gs'd a hood or large collar around the back?

The inquisitor looks great btw. I've plans to use the empire general's crow in a similar manner to the owl at some point.

i third it, i got the kit soley for that head, its rather nice!

I do have two of those sets, don't I, but that's still 3 short? You guy have seen the wizards in this very thread.

I like the head ok, but it's not the right one for what I have in mind and I've been saving one for another conversion I have in mind.
