Your work is great, obviously, but I just wanted to say thank you in regards to your site and videos, it's a lot of work and knowledge that im sure required a big investment of time on your end, it's really generous to share that with the rest of us.

Keep'em comin!

wow just read all 33 pages lol. I must say though, my favorite model is actually on page 1....not sure why but I just love the paint scheme on the chaos space marine, the black blended to red just looks awesome.

REALLY liking the weathering effects youve been doing though, I want to do battle damage/rust damage on my space wolf army, but no idea how. Any tuts/products you can recommend?

Also, just wondering your thoughts on using the painting technique you used on the CSM on page 1 for a grey paint scheme? or would you use something more along the lines of how you did the ultramarine

Yeah I just did the metallics and put a wash oil burnt umber oil on it to dirty up the metal and bring some rust to life. I need to pick which parts I want to make brass then it verdigris time. I was looking at the the pre-order to get the box game but you still have to get all the figs it looks like. Looks like fun though.

Golden Demon entry 2010 Vehicle Catagory in progress.

Imperial Guard Elysian Tauros Venator.

So far the model has been Base Coated and chips added using the sponge technique.

2 Colors of oil paint washes using Black and Burnt Sienna heavily thinned.

And APJ Sand Pigment applied to the tires. Wheels and tires still need washes applied to them but I wanted to show pictures of where it’s at.

Beautiful. My only mif is the cracks in the tires are the same color as the vehicle. Hopefully you already see this though and have just not touched it. If you haven't, YAY I HELPED.

"From the fires of Betrayal unto the blood of revenge we bring the name of Lorgar, the Bearer of the Word, the favored Son of Chaos, all praise be given to him. From those that would not heed we offer praise to those who do, that they might turn their gaze our way and gift us with the Boon of Pain, to turn the Galaxy red with the blood, and feed the hunger of the Gods."

It's a desert theme so the vehicle is sand colored, and the pigment in the tires is suppose to represent sand so I hope they look similar.

Excellent! Glad to hear you're going for this. It looks good so far, although obviously in this early stage it's hard to comment on. Looking forward to seeing how it comes along.

Just thought I would share as these just got pulled out from the moulds.

All the blue traces are mould rubber that was too flimsy or odd shaped. These are the first casts and they serve the purpose of pulling out the trouble areas. Painted versions soon.

Will be available in the next week or two on my online store.

Let the massacre begin!
