No, same as the last update, but the main scheme's been decided and a couple of guys are almost done to TT standard.
After exams I might do a sons of corax story update to partially compensate to my distinct lack of prescence over the past couple of weeks.

Now what I would like to see is just how the sponson looks next to the side of that beasty!

yup^^ and i will also provide some crew to scale it like you did...have been a bit lazy these days... summer is kicking in here in these lands... i am not too fond of heat...but well...work on the tank later this day will happen, promise! as of atm i have a worker for our heating system here... after he leaves i probably do some chores and then if times allows some hobby work^^

so as plans go this one was a bit modified...the visit at the dentist had to wait..........the worksman for our heatingsystem took so long to work on an exchange of electronics that i had to postpone the apointment...so sad about that...

well i made the promised pics then later that night and here they are...one thing tho...while working on the sponsons the thought never occured to me that i would be working in a kind of wrong direction...it is pretty obvious now that i will get a scalewise width issue as the sponson is for this tank way too thick...the dimensions are wrong in my book...if anyone has some solutions...fire away at your own will...

Well, the obvious solution would be to make a smaller sponson for that tank, and then a BIGGER tank for that sponson

that is a verrrrry good answer... why din´t i came up with that^^...heck i think subconciously i have thought already in that direction...darn ....temptation all the way...

put a railing around the top of the sponsons and you might just get away with it.

What about just cutting a huge hole in the side of tha tank and putting the sponsons inside ? you would only need to put half of the sponson showing anyhow.?

That is an option. Or start from scratch with the sponson, but before making it, gouge a hole in the side of the tank so that only half the film cannister would stick out- then build the sponson around that.

No worries Vik, if yo make a second sponson based off this but half the size it will work, heck I am making the perun strictly instinctively, like a Big Mek!

at anvildude and yet again neil...the whole in the tracksystem side idea i had afterwards too...this is most likley...or i built yet again another tank... whatever comes first^^

yep shaso i do feel too most of the time like a big mek myself^^ even my brian doesn´t know most of the times what my hands are doing...and the eyes take in what wonders/rubbish i produce^^
