Thraka found a scout. And my Nob that I wish I had a better photot of. Made him right after the switch to 6th, when all my mobs became shooty, and I began to hide my PK nobs behind my first 3-4 ranks of orks. They die less from boltguns that way, and can avoid challenges when they are 2-3 inches deep in an assault. His whip-klaw allows him to attack marines while behind his brethren!

Also nice work on the Ares. I particularly like the recoil plough on the back. Nice touch

Thank you! Some people haven't liked that part so much.

Yeah, how dare someone inject a touch of real world practicality to 40K?

Great work anyway!

This is something I've been working on for some time for a very WIP Imperial Guard army. Still not finished but it's close enough to being done that I'm happy to share it.

It's a counts as Leman Russ Vanquisher based on a 1/35 scale Tamiya Cromwell model. Didn't really take much to 40k it really, I just threw some chaos smoke launchers and Imperial symbols on it and scratch built the vanquisher battle cannon and lascannon from different sizes of plasticard tubes. I plan on adding a pintle mounted heavy stubber once I get one built.

This is made of too much win; the giant dozer blade and extra armor panels are perfect! The giant dozer blade is made of styrene/plasticard I assume? How did you achieve the slope on the blade?

Amazing use of parts there! That skull head sculpt is awesome as well! I see some Tryanid and Daemon Prince parts there, but I don't recognize those hands. Are they Tyranid as well?

Finally got my hands on a Pleasuredemon by Ultraforge and promptly converted it for my Daemon Prince of Khorne for my Warriors of Chaos. I really wanted to represent the Chaos Armor and Collar of Khorne equipment on the model itself and used various bits to accomplish this. I added hair to the normally bald model with GS and I think it turned out pretty well. I do plan on adding some chains and a few Khorne icons, but otherwise she is finished. If only I was good enough at sculpting to change her expression into something less serene and more khornate. I guess that will all come with the painting.

Wow, guys, this thread is always worth a visit! Great job!

@ cyborgakadjmoose: I really like how you subtly "GW-ified" that Ultraforge model! Although the balance in this thread will have to be tipped back in the direction of Khorne, of course

I am rather fond of this guy at the moment, my converted World Eaters Heldrake. I am calling it the "Hellrazor":

The conversion was inspired by a model done by Marshalfaust over on Warseer. More pictures in my World Eaters thread, in case anyone is interested

That is a great conversion! It ties it back to the old hell talon nicely and keeps a great "living machine" aesthetic without being too "raaar-I-is-dragon"

I bashed these together for a Dark Hersey game we're playing. Unneeded for playing Dark Hersey but three of us said we needed minnies so I got on to it, the GM is going to go threw his stuff and will have a odd game of D&D that is grim and dark

Thanks cyborgakadjmoose. Bought most of the pieces to him seperately (was never a fan of Abaddon's model tbh).
Your Daemon Prince looks awesome, the addition of chains and more khornate symbols are a must though, they'll make her more of a 'warrior queen' pulling her away from a more Slannesh feel.

Pleasure? Slaanesh? WITH KHORNE? Blashpemy, Khorne would never allow such a glorious abomination to be spawned!

In all respect though, that thing is freakin' awesome! I should get some of my conversions up here, but all my best ones are in the midst of being painted.
