Subject: MaxMini.eu previews and new releases (APRIL 24 - Orc Biker released - pg57)
I'm surprised by the bike. The biker looks great as well as those heads that are previewed. The bike is kind of ho hum. Especially considering how awesome everything else you make is. It's a little too plain looking for a 40k "stand in"
Even by today's motorcycles standard its a bit bland. With no guns on the bike or anything to customize the bike i'm just a little surprised this is what you went with.

Ork is great. Bike is lacking. If this is warboss scale, then it fills a real need in the market.
I already found an alternative 'Warboss on bike' model which I was really happy with, but if I ever need a 5th bikerboss, I will consider this model.
If he is NOB sized, then I may consider one of these to just joint he nob squad.

I agree with the comments on the orc bike, the orc itself looks pretty awesome but the bike loos like it would be better survived with a human riding it, doesnt seem big enough or orcy enough
i agree the bike is sexy, its just not what comes to mind when I think of an orc bike....though it possible I've just been to brainwashed into what an orc anything should look like

I can see why there is some reservation towards the bike it is rather clean to what we have come to expect from certain companies, although I think this allows the modeller a little scope to personalise it more.
Plus I do believe there is some talk of update kits for it so maybe that will add more Dakka Dakka I myself can see some great potential in this with plenty of conversion idea's springing to mind.

I think they already said the same. They went with a cleaner bike so you can customize it the way you want. I actually have the bike so I can take size comparison shoots. I would say it fits more with nobz rather than warboss. But wouldn't look half bad standing for a warboss
- exactly . That was our idea for the bike kit. While it is very easy to add some details with a tiny bit of plasticard and spare parts it is rather tricky to "undo" such operation .
And now for soemthing completly different - one of the most fun projects we did so far .

The Rocket Pigs are awesome, but I can't help but feel that they need handlebars or a handle for the rider to hold onto & guide the RPig with.

Yeah, the Rocket Pigs seem 80% done. They seem to be missing something. Handlebars or saddles, big red button... maybe hair of any kind?
I am only a fan of the 3 rear-wheeled ones right now.

Yes, reminds me a bit of the biker gang riding horses with handlebars in Blazing Saddles.

Got my most recent order recently. Like everything else I've gotten recently I haven't had time to QA it properly, but unless one of the tiny jump pack exhausts has been missed (ordered something like 15-25 jump packs), it all looks great. (as usual)
I'm liking those Bio-Devil Dogs!
