He's dark, like a Khornesque version of Zorro.

Ork looks great though I've always favored the Deathskulls over the Bad Moons. Makes sense for Gits army. The weathering on the metals looks very nice. The fleshy parts not so much though I'm not sure why.

Paperclips are FANTASTIC...er...fantastic pins. Cheap, available, and easy to clip. They have left some dents on my clippers though so I'll have to remember to use the new snips for trimming model parts from the plastic sprues and save the old snips for the clips.

The secret to painting a really big army is to keep at it. You can't reach your destination if you never take any steps.

I build IG...lots and lots of IG.

Finished Orky will be up tomorrow, for now you can enjoy the horrible and questionable scheme I have chosen for my little tyranid army which is coming together.

Yes thats right. Models that are mine. My models. Something I painted for myself. Good grief.

Just need their bases done now, they are hilariously bright. I went for something akin to poisonous frogs and insects. So much acid green. The scheme will translate to higher painting standard really well so am excited to get it onto the Carnifex I have waiting

These shots were overlit a bit, they have better contrast than is showing, I will get proper shots once they are based.

Here is a lower quality shot on a black background to show just how ridiculously bright they are.

This was a super quick update, but more tomorrow!

Those are cool! I love the color change down their arms into the guns. Great idea! I can't wait to see what you do with that Carnifex.

I like the scheme.

I like the stripes you give your tyranids on their carapaces (is that the word? you get the idea). And I like how you have the colour change mid-arm/leg. Ooo and I've only just noticed the fade on the tails, cool.

Oh, and red-ish and green-ish, I have one of those. Must be why I like it.

Good job.

Never tought of doing a complete color fade. It does remnind me of a South Americian tree frog. Very impressive. A bold statement. Will make me think about painting my nids differently for sure.

Wow, that Nazdreg looks real good ! Now I want this model for my own Waargh too. ^^
Nice painting on him, I love all that dirt on the yellow parts. The metallics are very convincing.

And I love da Jugganat', its armor plates are impressive. The red especially is deep and bright, very well done Ifalna.

I think your poison arrow frogs, ah I mean nids, are beautiful. Rainforest fresh. Tuty-fruity even. And I'm sure its nice to have minis to call your own - don't get too carried away though or you'll end up with a whole bookshelf full and have to pile your books on the floor like me!

Oh wow, thanks so much!

I can't wait to get it down as a higher quality version though, theres a lot that can be done with it!

I added a gloss coat to the carapaces and it was really worth it, really darkened the black while brightening the green, tis crazy.

Git's Ork is now finished and I am immensely proud of him! Can't wait to get some proper shots up tonight.

I've also gone from painting solidly for 6 hours or so a day to painting in 15 minute mini shots with small breaks inbetween and it has done wonders to my focus and ability to stick with small details, will totally keep doing this.
