Ah yes, all is right with the world again. Nice work on the libby Iffy. I stuck a jump pack and that one years ago and he saw good service for a long time.

Fantastic - Thats the way I think chaos champions should look.

Old models are rather bumpy sometimes unfortunately. That ones 2nd edition. Less bumpy than rogue trader minis.

I really love that libby Ifalna! I absolutely love some of the old models and this one is definitely up there in my favourite models. I like the weathering on it too, very nice.

I did something similar to my Striking Scorpions like you did your Chaos Champion there, except I had very dark green blended up to a bright green highlight. How did you do the gold on him may I ask if it isn't too much of a bother?

Hey welcome back Ifalna. You had us going there for a minute.

Love the Librarian. You work very well with the bright colours.
The Jugger rider is awesome looking. It makes me sad that hes painted a gazillion times better then what i could do and hes not even done yet. ;_;

Glad people love the old Libby, he really was fun to work with bar his natural lumpyness.

We can't fault him for that though, he is a pretty old gent. I have a wolf priest and ancient Dante taking a dettol bath as we speak, and hope to today get some work done on something VERY interesting, then take more shots of Mr Khorny tonight

Then here we go!

How gorgeous is this little lady? Absolutely tiny Malifaux mini, thats a small infantry warhammer base.

This is what IK-Painter chose for commission when they won a competition hosted here recently, she is nearly done now.

She just needs her dark blue hair, red nails, and tiny metal features done, then a quick fix of a stray bit of black on her face and a nice matt varnish coat to tame the annoying shine in her lovely blacks. Really impressed with the model, exceptional detail for a single piece metal cast.

Her colours are based off her packaged scheme which the owner requested, I just changed around the face and tones a little because they were slightly off. She will look really lovely once matt coated, the shine in the black is really throwing off the photo's, but not much I can do about that till she is all done!

Glory to the Twelfth! Glory to Angron!

‎"Because we couldn’t be trusted. The Emperor needed a weapon that would never obey its own desires before those of the Imperium. He needed a weapon that would never bite the hand that feeds. The World Eaters were not that weapon. We’ve all drawn blades purely for the sake of shedding blood, and we’ve all felt the exultation of winning a war that never even needed to happen. We are not the tame, reliable pets that the Emperor wanted. The Wolves obey, when we would not. The Wolves can be trusted, when we never could. They have a discipline we lack, because their passions are not aflame with the Butcher’s Nails buzzing in the back of their skulls. The Wolves will always come to heel when called. In that regard, it is a mystery why they name themselves wolves. They are tame, collared by the Emperor, obeying his every whim. But a wolf doesn’t behave that way. Only a dog does. That is why we are the Eaters of Worlds, and the War Hounds no longer."

I thought she was wearing black lipstick and the red was her tongue?

Looks really good Iffy. The layered blue on the dress is great looking.

She's looking really nice Iffy, it would be interesting to see you do some more Malifaux minis, just need some one to commission you.

She has a big full lower lip and a thin little top one hehe It looks a bit like a tongue up close actually now that you mention it!

Can't stress how small she is though, I will get a shot of her with a euro coin for a good idea.

I am seriously impressed with Malifaux, I painted her at work during Friday Night Magic and everyone who saw her commented on how amazing the sculpt was for something so tiny. I have some more interesting non GW stuff to put up soon for Whalemusic that is also freaking gorgeous!

Also, my ancient Dante fig I posted ages ago is having a dettol bath and should have lost his gorgeous paintjob today.

To jog peoples memories, here he is.

It is the end of an era for him.

Oh so you can't lay claim to that stunning gold armour and the purrrfectly drawn cat face? The wonderful think gluggyness of the paint. The unmistakable precision that went into painting the eyes on the helmet and the time and effort that went into detailing the boltgun? None of that is yours?

I think redone Dante should stay with you, seems like a great homage to whoever painted it before. Are the others in that pic getting a bath?

Looking forward to seeing the "other" models I sent.

There is nothing better than stripping a metal mini and re-painting a miniature from 10+ years ago with your current skills to show how far you've come.

Bete Noir...

Claire Danes as the most incompetent, mentally unstable and unprofessional CIA agent in history in HOMELAND.

A facial resemblance (try to imagine Claire with et black hair)? if only here character could smile and pout we could put this to bed.

Great job Ifalna.

I believe he was painted with 7 layers of car enamel and some tippex, but sadly I did not paint him, my pal did when he was 7

@mwnciboo, really well spotted. She does actually look surprisingly similar!

He needs a little trimming and some filing.. but I think he really scrubbed up well!
