The Pibber is unbuilt but I would say it is way to big to have been use for you, there was a 1:48 scale version I believe in a Rambo box set but can't find it for love nor money

Anyway this is much cooler and the finished build will be amazing, now if you can cast and sell it that would be awesome

Stern wiring looks good for the railing. Oh, great villain name. Mr. Stern Wiring, sower of confusion and wreaker of general havoc. Not that General Havoc likes being wreaked, except by maybe Mrs. Havoc.

I can't believe you actually soldered that railing. It looks absolutely great. I also like the template you've made for measuring your railing size. May have to borrow that idea.

Well, I think it's high time to admit that I have a problem, although it's likely very obvious by looking at my WIPs compared to finished models...

I've now caught a maritime modelling addiction it seems and started to plan out the next scratch build...



This is going to become a 1:56ish (or 28mm scale) WW2 German S-boat. In particular, it's the late war s-100 variant.
From bow to stern it's going to be 26" or 66cm...

I flipping love these things...... there was a brilliant old issue of "Commando" comic / magazine.... that followed one of these boats... the art work was glorious and the look style of the boat is REALLY cool!

The last little art piece there looks awesome! Really love the look and style of the "bridge" ... almost resembles a little bunker...

Cant wait to see what you do with this one!

I agree with LDD. Finish the Pibber. At this rate of new starts, you're going to end up with a fully covered Table of Shame in no time. And those things taunt you mercilessly. Fair warning.

Seriously though Ruglud..... that storm trooper is looking cool! Cant really zoom in as I am on my phone..... but the re-breather & head look spot on!

Never fear, the Table of Shame was already shameful before - and continuously taunts me... I do though have a few more bits now so the Pibber can be continued, plus I have the cables I needed to continue the Thunderbolt

Now to find the time to work on them, hmmmm....

Got hold of a cheap Taurox kit at Salute this year (£20) and complemented that purchase with several sets of Zinge 27mm (wide) military wheels and so a new conversion begins...




Obviously, very early stage and was distracted by the football so got very little done - really only got to looking at the suspension and whether it would be suitable to mount the wheels, am undecided at the moment...

As an idea though of where this build is heading (asides from the 'table of shame', I'll be extending the chassis at the rear to accommodate 2 wheels and create a 6x6 MRAP type vehicle.

That stunning work on the thunderbolt, do love zinge stuff, makes little details really easy. Had similar idea along the lines of your new project so will be watching how the wheels turn out. With 4 track vehicles on the go, I need a change

Now to the new project what are you doing to the wheels ? I can't figure out for the life of me what you are doing to them ?

Nice rims , will it be a daulie n back ( stacked tires, so 4 on the rear axel per side, or just two tires on each side in the back.

Zinge bits look great, I like the 6-wheeler idea.

Neat adecuation job on the rims so far.
