Nice selection of possible junk. Look forward to seeing what junk it becomes.

Little horse looks good.

and what is your problem with the big horse? Just a lack of ideas to go forward with it?
Depends on what you see it being used/made for:
Transport, needs a large troop carrying space on the back.
Fire support, needs a big gun on the back.
Front line fighting platform, needs a fighting platform...
Other/command, needs something like a mini-steampunk-cathedral on the back... think of SoB tanks.. and aerials...

some of these ideas i had too... but i was unsure because of that big neck thingy... a big structure on the back that blends in with this would help to make it look flush... yup... we are on a good direction here now...!

Really cool boiler Vik whats the main body... is it a kinder egg?

I like the horse so far, I like the idea of some sort of trailer being towed behind with a gun on it (counts as sentinel?) You'll come up with something

best of luck with the competition mate

Nice looking junk. Can't wait to see this progress.

Little horse looks amazing, excellent job.

Big horse, I think I would go with the good Dr, a command vehicle, counts as Salamander maybe. You get to mount some guns, and comms, and it's a small troop transport. The body of the beast is probably not that far off the right size, they just put legs on instead of tracks, for better visibility on the battle field.

I think the big horse should be pulling artillery of some kind. After all, that was the mindset of the Viktorian era. They hadn't really fathomed mechanized warfare yet, just like we can't quite fathom cyber warfare yet.

fire breathing mechanical giant horse of flaming death . Have the fire come out of the nostrils, and you could put greenstuffing flames around the hooves too. Use the old rule from 2/3 edition where any enemy assaulting the walking glue factory is hit by a strength 4 ap 4 flaming attack before they strike.

Then the horse could use the apocalyptic rules, where the 18" flamer template is placed up to 18" away, sideways to keep it all touching that 18" boundary mark and engulf enemy infantry in burning death!

Good start, Vik.
You will be adding more little bits of junk about the base and up against the things there, won't you?

Where did the yellow "pipes" come from?

Nice barricades mate helps clear the desk as well

As to the large horse this screams command vehicle or the royal box so to speak, think of the empires royal dignitaries riding around in such grand splendour.

I think some kind command box with side armoury and personal guard section, the rest is up to you

Loving the junk. If it's been around for a while the dust and sand will have built up around the base a little, is all I could possibly add. Think wind swept sand on one side, and in the corners.

At cam...
The sand idea sounds good...specialy because it will fix some issues...dust now will be tricky for me as that effect I haven't done yet...

And ldd...I think thisight be the time to make my queeny make an appearance then

Great start on the junk pile Vik, I should probably get started on mine soon .

It definitely needs more detail though, maybe some odd bits of wire or cable,
and lots of little shards of scrap metal (tiny plastic card bits) littered all over the place.

Hey mates! This is a small text update to inform you that I'm still alive...

The junk is indeed in good "spirit" , primed and first basecoat aplied,
But why I speak to you today, is that my wife and me had a long talk about my painting...I want to change the paint range and she was willing to help me in this, so I mas choose a good starter kit of any paintrange (except GW)... So for around 50€s I might get me a new start in painting heaven...which brings me now to ask you my friends to guide me and provide me with your suggestions...

Thanks in advance, yours truly vik
