Sounds like a plan! And on the GMS marine, yeah, haven't really go much done... need to make sure that Proto still wants trade a marine with me, too, and that it ould be ok that if he did, I send both at the same time.

Grey Solid now

Also had another game Vs my normal DE opponent and got absolutely smashed, this is the second game in a row in 6th edition I've faced him and each time it's gone horribly wrong. I went with a GK force this time (As the SM army I tried almost got tabled) and there seemed nothing I could do right to counter his super fast vehicles and ridiculous amounts of attacks in close combat. Has anyone played any DE and have tips/lists I could try?

What did you list look like and what did your opponents list look like? I could maybe help if I had a better idea of what I was looking at.

I guess a quick run down would have helped eh?

My army,

Grandmaster with MC hammer and rad nades
Techmarine + rad nades
2 x 10m Terminator sqauds with psybolt, 2 psycannons, 4 halberds, 2 hammers Justicar's was Master crafted
Dreadknight with incinerator and greatsword
Psyrifleman dread with psybolt
Vindicare assassin

His army,
2 raiders with 10 wyches each with nets and power weapon
1 Ravager
2 venoms, one with archon and guys with 2 handed klav thingy's
5 swooping hawk dark eldar thing, the ones with bat wings
8 DE jetbikes
1 Razorwing jet fighter

Having had my SM force destroyed by his DE and his AP3 weapons I wanted to try a terminator army to see if it would allow me to last longer....
Deployed short table edge, I was given first turn, kept terms in reserve and depolyed assassin in reinforced cover, dread behind a building and NDK behind the closest cover I could get to the centre of the board
He deployed his models over 36 inches away from the assassin and in cover.
First turn I moved the NDK closer and moved the assassin further towards his force along the top of the building and tried a snap shot at a raider and didn't hit dread stayed hidden as he was not able to see anything even if he had moved.
He moved all his vehicles up and ended up shooting all his dark lances from his raiders and all the venom shots into the NDK, surviving on 1 wound (to be fair, he took a lot of shots)
My turn 2, both squads of terms DS in, both scatter, one ends up going back into reserves, the other mishaps and my opponent gets to position them, he does so right on my short table edge, so they have to walk/run back into combat., the NDK tried to get as close as he can to flame on, but due to per-measuring is short 2 inches, the dreadnaught steps out from behind the building and explodes one of his raiders killing a nearby jump trooper and 7 of the occupants. My assassin shoots at his ravager and on 4d6.. fails to penetrate.....
His turn 2, razorwing comes on flies up near the NDK, the 3 wyches run into cover and hide out, the venoms, raider and ravager move to shoot at either the NDK or the dreadnaught, his shooting kills the NDK and imobilizes the dreadnaught and takes it to 1HP, his DE bikes turbo boost 48 inches or something ridiculously far over the top of the assassin and drops his caltrops or bombs. the assassin ends up getting his 32 times, wounded 15 times, and only fails one save, I was flabbergasted at his luck on that one.
My turn 3, the last term squad teleport in and don't scatter, the squad on the other end of the table try to run forward as fast as they can (not as quick as DE can of course) the assassin fires at the raider and penetrates, but only gets a weapon destroyed... the dreadnaught cant see anyone but the razorwing so goes for broke, gets one six and gets a pen, however flier makes its jink save. the teleported squad open up on the raider and wreck it, but of course can't assault the occupants.
His turn 3, the DE bikes move up to ontop of the ruins with the assassin, the razorwing flies off the table, the venoms disgorge their occupants and the DE jump team move a bit closer. The shooting leaves me without the dreadnaught, and having lost the assassin and 2 terminators, his close combat leaves me with another 4 terminators dead and only taking out 3 wyches
My turn 4, the squad at the far end of the table move up as far as they can and kill the rest of the DE jump guys, close combat ends with only the Techmarine alive having declined the challenge from his archon.
His turn 4, his venoms and ravager open up on the squad trying to get into range of something and kill 3 of them, close combat ends with the Techmarine getting "snow globed" by his archon and they consolodate 1 inch.
My turn 5 Try to move up as fast as I can to his lord and wyches however can't hit anything due to range
His turn 5, moves his bikes out from cover ready to turbo boost/caltrop, his ravager/venoms move to max range of their weapons and open up again, taking out another 2 terminators and wounding the grand master twice. His bikes turbo boost/caltrop the squad and leave only the grand master and one terminator alive
I call it beginning my turn 6 due to not wanting to get tabled again.

Well I can tell you that you need a teleporter on the NDK. 12 inches makes it so much better. That 30 jump is also a great late game defense. I would also consider taking another psyfleman dread because they work better in pairs.

I would drop the vindicare for another psyfleman and drop the techmarine for the personal teleporter.

Add the psychostrokes to the GM for combat purposes.

I really like the rest of your list so without seeing the battlefield I could not help any further.

Mostly, on my phone.

I second the comments about jump NDK, it's scary as and well worth the points. I'm a big fan of running a Libby as hq. Sanctuary is your friend. TBH, loathe as I am to suggest such a thing, you might want to consider Deathstar Paladins; big blocks of Paladins are nigh-unassailable in 6th. However, it's not necessarily a particularly fun list to play. Another thing to consider is falchions over Halberds, he's I6 anyway might as well optimise how many hits you can churn out. Crowe with purifiers is also a vicious build against horde type armies. Then again against vehicle heavy Deldar another Psyfleman gives you more attrition.
Hope that helps, sorry if it's a bit vague!

Well, first, your dice luck swung heavily in both directions. Your terminators squads both mishap'd on their arrival, which rendered that turn moot and put one squad almost entirely out of the game. It is hard to deal with such a situation.

The Vindicare, while in theory fun, typically ends up being a point sink. And with a vehicle-light army, the Techmarine is not much use, either.

I'd suggest dropping them both, and using the points for psyk grenades and another Psyfleman. And, yes, if you're going to take a Dreadknight, give him the teleporter.

To be fair to your opponent, don't 'tune' the army to him, but do consider the Falchion option in a squad.

Finally, don't worry about his air power too much, a pair of Psyfleman dreads will deal with that well enough.

Luck!

Brian's comments are right on the money, and I should also clarify that deathstar paladin would (typically) include an apothecary with warding stave.
