Update: figured I needed a bit more to show than just legs today, so over the weekend there was some airbrush work.

I always laugh when I see purity seals on titan armour. Like who would put that there?

Looking forward to the event I'll have to dub the "squiggling". It will be glorious.

It's like those stickers you used to get for doing something in school. I just imagine this little techpriest jumping up, slapping a purity seal on his leg, and saying "you've earned this!"

For me I love the way it looks right now, never really get the whole brightly coloured huge walking robot thing, battleship grey is so much more practical. Don't get me wrong the paintwork on some of these monsters is amazing, but a reality check would be, how and why would you do it.

@WarbossDakka - Yeah just the primary layer, I tried something a little different and had a darker section of each plate to the bottom right of said plate, it'll then be edge highlighted as normal.

@Justaerin - Cheers, I can imagine a little tech preist giving the leg a hug, and shedding a little tear at how awesome his titan is for getting so many participation purity seals.

@Dysartes - Some of them don't know they're grey

@Mad - I await that moment when the sea of grey goes apocalyptic removing the sea of tyranids and everything in a 30 inch radius

@Solar - Yeah, I am fully getting super excited for this thing, I did another test fit before getting underway with the glue and I am very excited

@Cam - Heh, well I might shatter that with big swathes of Red, White and a spot of blue

Update: Rise my hound, rise.... well at least on to your legs, we'll sort the rest of you soon enough. Using a 2 part epoxy resin to ensure this guy isn't going to fall apart when handled. Will let you know how it went tomorrow

As I work on my Reaver I'm constantly looking at the pieces and realizing there is so much still left to do. A lot more time for sure.

@Solar - Oh yes, when I laid out all the bits for the Warhound I was considerably daunted, I can only imagine how bad the Reaver would be!

@Gits - Yep, having a standing model now is definitely a "Step" in the right direction (god I'm terrible with my puns of late)

Update: Resin glue has now dried! it stands and oh boy is this thing rigid

All dirty jokes aside, it's cool watching this thing come together. A model like this would be out of my league both price-wise and hobby skill-wise, but I enjoy watching everyone else put their Titans together. You seem to be making more progress than the others so far, too!

@WarbossDakka - I asked the legs to work the camera but all I got was lifeless and rigid, I did the best with what I was given

@Justaerin - awesome, I was worried the blue would overpower the whole thing, good to hear its just eye catching

@Gits - Oh yes, needs to get into some 'squats' (not the retconned ones) and enjoy the burn.

@Zerg - I'm always happy, to see you. I do have to admit this model has tested me like no other, getting the legs to fit in the right way and I am always in fear of making a mistake.

@EDC - Thanks man

The leg-plate's connected to the...thigh plate! The thigh-plate's connected to the...hip plate! (sorry, trying to come up with a joke after a hard day at work and this was the best I could do!)

Anyways, those thigh plates are looking pretty awesome (and just look at those squiggles!). Were a lot of those details like the purity seals sculpted on, or are they add-on bits from your bits box?
