AH thanks guys! happy you like the rhinos they've been sitting around for literally years on my shelf and I keep putting off trying to play a game as I had/have no transport for my troops but once they're finished i might be tempted to try! after thy get done I might then do my Baal and normal predator! fun fun fun

I quite like how my priest is turning out too, no pinks or anything else just the wash and the whites so far, I do have a new laptop so the colours may be a bit off at the moment and speaking of new laptop if anyone else is on skype look me up and we'll chat that includes you Kingcracker

Rhino's are a gateway transport, before you know it, it's Land Raiders and Cestus Assault Rams. Then you wake up covered in left over sprues wondering where it all went wrong.

Bwahahaha! that picture is pure Nerd love! only those I care about see and remember that image! something in me thinks they WANT it to be burnt into their retinas? but keep in mind this year is yet to see the Nerdcademy award third prize I've got some freaky ideas already

but before I show you my amazingly manly body I will lull you into that false sense of security by showing you some work in progress of my Rhinos got the lower half weathered and dry bushed with balor brown to simulate dust and dirt and a start on the bones, not much more to do i'm just outta time again

Rhinos are looking outstanding, and I also quite like the way that the Apothecary/Sanguinary Priest is going.

Looks great Damo! Weathering looks really cool too. And the bonessssss. Super cool touch. Very macabre.which i suppose is quite fitting! Are you going for a ceramic look on the weathered scratched areas or are you filling them in later with metal? Either way it looks good. Looking forward to finished product and an army pic

The weathering effects and highlighting on those rhinos blow me away! Amazing!!

Thanks guys, if I add up the time I actually sat down with them *9-5.7x 42 carry the 1 %6* they haven't really taken too long at all :-) the highlighting is only on the top half of the vehicles and the lower gets a darker red with the chips and dirt which seems to be working in a good way for the aesthetics of the force! it does make me a little eager to assemble and paint the StormRaven I have which has also been languishing for years on my shelf! :-)

and snrub, Nerdwench doesn't mind at all, she in fact took the picture :-) she knows what i'm like by now, after 6 years together if she didn't like it she would have well and truly left me! 6 years! crikey I should probably see if she'd be willing to be Mrs Nerdfest soon shouldn't I!?

You could fabricate a ring out of a rhino cupola, paint it gold, and give it to her. Make sure you highlight it and freehand some sappy crap on the inside. She'd be so overcome with romantic feelings, she couldn't help but say yes!*

Seriously guys if anything he's going to put the ring on a pillow stacked on top of the dogs . Of course being in Australia wedding rings probably attract some really bizarre poisonous marsupial with the head of a lama, body of a squid, fangs of a goldfish, and arms like a giraffe. Somehow it all turns it I to an apex predator and is your most haunted nightmare until you realize...."oh they have wings too!"
