These guys and AoW really sum up the business difference between the US/UK cultural expectation vs the Southern European cultural expectation.

Being a Cornishman, I know well the word 'drekly', derived from 'directly' but meaning 'when it happens, chill out mate'.

The Southern European business model adheres to a timeframe of drekly... My advice, accept it or shop elsewhere, applying pressure usually results in conflict rather than resolution.

Production will be late, factor it into your timeframe expectations.

Depends. Just expect Raging Heroes to be 2-3 months late, and you will be pleasantly surprised

Well, I guess not handing out solid dates would be the wiser thing to do and just spring it upon us when it's done. It's just I've been in the hot seat for almost two months now waiting for this puppy to get its shots and get picked up from the pound by a happy owner. I've let the second Zombicide campaign slip by me for this one.

However, the whole "Southern European cultural expectation" is a tad lame. "Oh, they're from there, okay, guess we'll see when it shows up!" Nope. Nooooooope. Nope.

I want this to succeed, I love their gak to pieces, I will throw money at them, I want the beer chugging cigar chomping sergeant, but come on lad!

The thing is, they've sort of eliminated all of the valid potential excuses with their(very positive and responsible if true) explanation of why the Kickstarter has been a while getting off the ground, so if an issue does pop up I don't know quite what they'd blame it on.

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for now anyway.

Eh, it's their first time, so the first time round things might go awry or slightly less than planned. But, it builds experience, something they'll need some of if they're planning on running three of these this year.

Well, I remember that they said something like they prepared for the Kickstarter for 9 month (have to be a year now), so I don't expect more issues, let alone after they already made clear that the minis won't go out the week after the KS ends. So I am very optimistic for the campaign itself everything afterwards but of course, you can never know for sure, if their won't be problems.

I thought I'd update the thread directly, to add a wee bit of info to the image very kindly submitted by Wolfstark:
Until now, we had only shown concepts of heroine characters for the Toughest Girls of the Galaxy Kickstarter.
But what makes the bulk of an army are the troops.
Hence the image above of what you can expect in terms of Troops.

KICKSTARTER UPDATE
We do realize that some of you are wondering what is taking us so long to launch the KS.
Believe us when we say that we are at the point where we'd like to throw caution to the wind and get it launched!

But in a way, the administrative delays we faced have been a blessing:

- as mentioned earlier, it gave us the opportunity to raise more awareness for the project and thus give it a better chance of success and a broader scope (more stretch goals!);

- we spent more time planning the production process with our suppliers, which among other things has allowed to come up with a new optimisation of the moulding process,giving us the opportunity to put more things in the multi-part kits than we originally expected;

- we also are very aware that other Kickstarters have had planning difficulties; we truly sympathise with what the backers as well as the Kickstarter creators are going through, it is really hard to imagine the amount of work and preparation involved in such large endeavours... This is also the reason why we don't want to launch unless we are fully ready (which is really soon now);

- we've read on many forums that "if the sculpts are even half as good as the concepts, I'm in"; well, we strive to have sculpts that are virtually IDENTICAL to the concepts!
But such work takes time, not only in sculpting, but more importantly, in posing, so as to achieve the same emotions and feelings that each concept has. A base sculpt is often done in a few days. But finalising it to our exacting standards can sometimes take several weeks, and several people. If things take time, it's because we want to provide you with the best miniatures that we can achieve.

As a special treat, though, know that we're working on a kick-ass video for the launch! Our most recent nights have been filled with compositing, 3D renderings, HRDI environments, sound editing...

Just got the Raging Heroes manticore in the mail from SpikeyBits. I'm quite pleased . I've owned it before, but wasn't happy with the way it was supposed to go together, and ended up selling it... they re-did the connections on it and I think it's way better!

The resin looks a bit different, though. I remember it being a little bit sharper before, but it looks fine now.

Glad to hear that this is what we can aspect from the troops. I feared that all of'em will feature that helmet but it seems that is not the case. I like the variation on the girls (not only in this picture), but I can still see that they all belong to the same faction.
