The nice thing about painting space marine casualties for objective markers is I can play with an entirely different color palette. I have always love the Ultramarine as that was how I got into this game a year and 2 weeks ago. The Imperial Fist is a challenging task since yellow is difficult to execute correctly. But I love how it turns out. And of course, the beloved Salamander chapter.

Someone mentioned some time back that I should take a group shot. Well, I kindda did but then I gave up after realizing that I need to put more back if I take more out. So here is approximately less than half of my collection.

No. I am not dead yet. I have been busy honing my Dark Angel skill. There has been some wins and some loss in gaming recently. I still find Tyranid with their Biomancy spam to be something I need to watch out for. Aside from that, I recently acquired approximately 500 points of Imperial Guard, 500 points of Eldar. I am also starting a community Tau army with my brother. I got married too :| so free time to tougher to come by.

I did get my smoke speeder finished.

but on a happier note! :-) the Ibiza Speeder is looking good, particularly the metal areas, the matte finish is a nice look for your scheme, you've made a rather 'silly' model look pretty cool! (front gunner doesn't appear to have legs! but that's not your fault lol)

This model was rebuilt from a kindda broken Rhino. You can see the build was not good from the front left plate. I am glad that it can finally be on the shelf (since Predator is useless in this edition).

Life caught on but I found some time to finish up my Ravenwing and its banner.

Which of the two blue tail fin pattern on the Ravenwing banner do you like more?

Side B for definate, far sharper and more crisp in the diagonals. Good job with everything else, keep up the good work

Looking really good. Still clean as ever. My angels are coming along as well, I'm actually planning on using the ravenwing banner on a tac squad for command company. Figure it would be very dynamic look

Been painting stuff for the upcoming tournament here in Houston. I will update some time after the tournament completes. But here are the whirlwind that won't be seeing battles (unless I use the new FW whirlwind rules).

So I got back from Space City Con last weekend. I lost 3 games (badly), tie 1 and won 2. Ended up middle in the bottom bracket. But my Ravenwing + Eldar ally did win best painted. YAY. I few boxes of stuff so I will be painting up a few more eldar forces. I really can't wait to do some serious free-hand on these serpent hulls.

I want to believe that the judge picked me because of the Ravenwing command squad. I unfortunately don't have the pictures of them all finished. But I do have some almost finished pictures. I will take a pix of the entire ravenwing command squad soon enough.

Since my DA doesn't perform well alone, I also ventured into some catachan jungle fighters. I have 50 of them with 5 sargs with power axes and meltabombs. They killed their fair share of daemon princes, hive tyrants and tervigons. But I haven't finished them as I have found that the way to war is for the greater good. Dang, I need to stop branching out to to many xenos. :| What has happened to my faith in the emperor?

You can also probably tell that I have recently taken an interest in wet-blending power weapons and the like Line highlight + wet blending has awesome effects. I love it on the swords and stuff.

Hmm. Something is happening to me. I find myself painting more and more non marine despite the White Scar chapter giving my Ravenwing HUGE boost. :(

Yes. Yes I did. I did a WS+RW list and tabled my friend Tyranid whose I usually have a lot of trouble with at the TOP of the turn 1.
