The year is coming to a close, and in just a week it will be 2012.

related to your hobbies?

Hopefully with me moving back to civilization I can accomplish more this next year.

#1 Finish Painting my High Elves army

#2 Finish Painting my wifes Dark Elves Army

#3 Play at least 12 2500 point games this year

#4 Find at least 80 6th edition Empire Soldiers

#1 - Paint my Grey Knights.

#2 - Build my Necrons back to 1500 points.

#3 - Build my 2000 point Imperial Guard list and paint as I buy.

#4 - Build my 2500 point Imperial Fist list and paint as I buy.

#5 - Paint my Protectorate of Menoth.

#6 - Play more competitive Warmachine and 40k.

#7 - Get more friends in to wargaming, probably Warmachine as its cheaper.

#2 - Build & Paint 1500 Praetorians, tring Army Painter QuickShade.
#3 - Build & Paint 1500 Necrons.
#4 - Build Ice imperial themed terrain table.
#5 - Build Mars tau themed terrain table.

1. Continue to keep the paint to buy ratio at a reasonable level
2. Don't start any new armies of 40k
3. Possibly start Scyrah
4. Expand SoB further possibly 1850 (the goal has been apoc sized for quite a while

)
5. Play more games
6. Improve painting, possibly picking up NMM but more likely just work on blending further
7. Finish Exorcist to plan
8. Add more conversions to army to differentiate different roles
9. Name all squads, vehicles and superiors in SoB army (harder goal includes all models)
10. Finish adapting army to WD codex
11. Super heavy / Titan
12. Build proper display for SoB army rather than use the standard grassland one I made a while ago...

1. Repaint the Cryx battle group
2. Buy/Paint at least 15 points of Blindwater
3. Teach Warmachine to 3 New People.

1. Put together a fully painted 4x8 Urban Terrain Table for 40K with components that can be packed and moved.

2. Finish off my unpainted Cadian models (roughly 100 models) and don't buy any new ones unless GW comes out with plastic stormtroopers and/or Colossus Siege Mortars.

3. Sculpt something for my Cadian army or for the Urban Terrain Table

4. Convert and paint one True scale Relictor Space Marine.

EDIT: And put these resolutions on my Dakka page. DONE!.....

.....That should keep Malfred away from my socks for a year. The rest of youse is fair game!

That's more than enough for me.

New Years Resolutions:

1) Finish painting my Word Bearers (1600pts to go!)

2) Pick up a Warhammer force properly and paint those models that I buy.

3) Paint my Eldar, and expand to 1000pts.

4) Assemble the Marines and Rhino I found before Christmas

These are my resoultions, hopefully achievable!

1: Paint my 1750 Red Corairs list (and any options for the list) This I want done ASAP.
2: Paint rest of my Nurgle themed Chaos
3: Start a new army (this will be either Nids, as I already have some stuff, or something else, possibley a cheap ebay army, buying poor condition stuff and repairing etc)
4: Paint malifaux gang
5: Try and keep a P&M log on here
6: Create a diorama
7; try and play some LOTR (this involves making other people want to play)

Well, I'd like to finish my Purifiers army, extend my DE army, start Necrons (1500 pts), and participate in the GT; not sure what army to field (BA, Eldar, GK)? Painting is included everywhere.

The last point is a good move.

1. Run one tournament before 6 ED rules comes out.

1) Give up building and painting armies for hopefully most of this year. I'm fed up of doing them at the moment!
2) Go back to buying figures/ranges that catch my eye throughout 2012, and finding the time to paint them.
3) Look for really quirky/odd/bizarre minis to collect.
4) Attend a decent wargames show. Claymore 2011 was just boring; same traders basically offering what they showed in 2010.

This has kept my pile of unpainted from growing over the last few years. I will not make it to 100 figs this year though, did 82 and not starting any more until Skullvane Manse is done.

I'm going to fulfill my lifelong ambition to play a game of Warhammer Fantasy with two fully painted armies on a nicely modelled battlefield.

Then I think I'll move onto something else like Flames of War.
