Im just trying to decide upon an army, and then need to learn.

For now i'll just stick to 40k and FB.

Been down this GW for years but only as a side-kick to my friends as during their later teens wanted an audience to watch them play, yesterday I painted my very first model - only a gaunt but I'm glad I did, it looks utterly pants but I enjoyed it and having started the second one feel confident it can only get better! Not bad seeing as I'm 22 and have been going down Pooles GW for the best part of 10 years aha

If anyone goes down regularly let me know, would be good to have a chat, though I'm sure my experience is fairly lacking by comparison, especially when painting!

Dotn worry about being inexperienced Cre5po, we all have to start somewhere (admittedly i was about 10 when i started, so found that i onyl ever played against kids).

I keep meaning to go down there to play a game, just got to get and do it(haven't played in about 10odd years) just don't want to make a tit out of myself being a noob again! Haha

I only 'play' 40k, going down tomorrow morning to play with my friend. I collect black templars, a small grey knight army and now imperial guard as well.

might have to arrange a meet up sometime Kevv.

Im normally playing guard, but can bring a non imperial army if you would prefer (nids, dark eldar or daemons)

I usually go in most weekdays on my travels through Poole, went in today to see how the fallout of the unveiling of VI edition was, spoke to Ben / Mike for a little then went on my way, it's a great time to get started with learning shame I'm not too keen on £45 for a book! Will have to wait a bit

i am curently looking at the options for setting up such a club.

I'm defiantly up for a local club, somewhere where everyone can have a good time and have fun! I'd prob also be able to get a couple of others to come along as well, since now gw are only going to have 7 tables, and they may all be booked for whatever they want to run so nowhere to game!

Going to be running games nights at mine. Will have 4 tables, and am looking at locations for new clubs.

I still go down from time to time however have still not played a single game of 40k, if anyone would fancy a game at somepoint that'd be cool, I've read the rules and have 1,500 of crons but have no problem scaling it down to 1,000

Also got a lot of stuff to sell so if you are from the area keep an eye on gumtree

For anyone interested, me and DjDom have set up dicepocalypse, a GCN registered gaming club in kinson on a friday night between 6:30 and 10.

I am also available for games at mine, both GW and non gW (with dystopian being my favourite at the moment).

Good to see someone doing something positive after GW Poole banned in store painting and open gaming on their gaming night.
