You've been really busy. Excellent work on those modular pieces. Adding that 3D effect w/ layers is always very cool. I trashed the ones I had, poor execution of a vague idea. Yours looks like a genuine battlefield. Great job.

I tossed some random stuff in the last bag, I think the neatest might be the barrel for alternate sci fi barrels, actually got it out of my vitamin bottle. Looks more techy than the old 55gallon drum.

It sure does. Its small, kinda like a large canister. I'll be turning it into clusters of that size container.

anyhooo... on to pics.

The display board is now primed and I am waiting on payment to deliver it to the client (spec was unpainted)



and the first set of bases for the corrupted wastes theme. (60mm and 25mm round bevel edge.)

Thanks. there is alot here, but most of my specific projects are in separate threads as well (since I couldnt figgure out how to hotlink in dakka to a specific post, or page) link to my index thread in in my sig.


I've gotten more done, I just handed the display board over to the client today.

I'll get pics of what I get done tomorrow up well tomorrow...

Question- what are you using to glue the sand? I've tried a few different things but some of it alwasy comes off, and over time a LOT of it comes off.

I use CA (super glue) for all my rubble/sand. It's more expensive, but avoids the rub off problem.

Nope. The brown is just playground sand. The white is woodland scenics snow clock over snow base.

Snow base is glue mix (50/50 water glue) white paint, and baking soda.
