The gothic window panels make me drool! What if a guy just wanted about 100 of those?
And the Dentil molding is fantastic! - They should make bank wall panels with that Dentil molding as well.
Not Infinity so-to-speak, but for other darker grimness

For me everything looks cool except those gothic windows. They would be great for 40k but for Infinity just to big of openings. I also just don't see the gothic style in my interpretation of the Infinity universe. But I like the rest of the stuff. I may have to consider picking some stuff up later after the kickstarter.

Yeh the gothic stuff isn't designed for Infinity CW, it's just that Dave builds a lot of 40k terrain.

Heya,
Took me a while to be able to take a picture of the finished container I found. I also made an Ikube to see which one I prefer.
On pictures I prefered the Ikubes, but now I see they're not what I tought they were. These are not cargo containers, but more like deployable rooms, like they use in construction zones (we had some in school when I was 8).. And personally I don't like the height for that purpose. The other container is a little more complicated to put together (since it was my first time) but I think I'll manage. They are quite sturdy aswell, the edges fit nicely and support eachother.
Chaos marine for scale, couldn't use my first Haqq model since I didn't know about priming metal models, and I'm stripping my first attempt to paint it atm
My dad also brought some foamcore for me, I can also start my attempt to make buildings with the templates linked a few posts back.
Does anyone know what the height of buildings should be by the way? Should you be able to climb on to it without ladders? So that would be 3 inches, or with ladders that'd be maybe 2 short skills and about 6 inches? (with MOV being an average 6 inches?)

Thanks for coming back to give us a run down, stuff like that really adds to this tome of information!
I'm looking forward to your foamcore buildings although I can't offer much in the way of help. I'm sure someone around here can help you out though, I've seen a few guys working with foam terrain.

I just picked up some pieces from this range:
http://www.spartangames.co.uk/products/spartan-scenics/modular-scenery
I also grabbed a few of the accessories packs. It looks like it will primarily only make up military/industrial complex type tables but I'm curious to try some battles where you can battle inside and out.

Hi,yesterday I had a nice game against my friend Till. I shot some photos of my WIP terrain. The idea is to get different levels of height in very simple but good looking way. I bought a lot of MAS and Sarissa terrain and made some parts by myself...enjoy. Like I said this is VERY wip, but when I got the time I will paint the stuff more and more...
ahh...I got some of the new Spartan Interieurs, too and I´m very impressed. They are made perfect, I didn´t have to cut any mold line or anything else...ver nice. The price is okay, a box with tons of boxes and so on for about 30 €, that´s okay. Couldn´t do it myself in this high quality. I haven´t bought any of the houses, I got a lot of MAS buildings and so I don´t need to.

Looking good medusa! I'm sure it'll be astounding once it's all up to your full standards. Any chance of a picture of the contents of the €30 box beside a miniature or two? I'm really glad to hear the quality is up to scratch. Sounds like a winner.

Of course...
This is what you get, bought it for 29 € in my FGS....
it´s : 4xbarrels, 6xbiohazard containers, 4xstorage crates, 5 storage containers, 2xpallets, 8xpallet arms (what does that mean in English?)
The boxes are big, perhaps a little big too big for an infantrist trooper, but I don´t care. Like I said the shapes are clean and ready to prime, nothing to argue about...

Thanks, mate! Those are really nice pieces but I'm not sure the scale works for me. They are a little big or a little small depending on how I look at them. They are still a great source of scatter terrain or for detailing a board, very cool. I hope the lab equipment type stuff is a better scale for me.

Medusa, how do you like the Sarissa terrain? I have some MAS stuff myself and for my next purchase, Sarissa is a possible contender. How would you compare the two?

Sorry, don´t think so. I prefer MAS, I had big trouble painting the Sarissa stuff, it soaked up my primer totally and I had to do it by brush. The material is thinner than MAs. Apart from this you get some nice stuff for a rather good price.

Yeah, MDF will soak up some paint for sure. I don't think it really matters who makes it though. I'd like to get my hands on more than MAS stuff to compare though.

Thanks. Like I said, I wanted cheap easy to build stuff. I´ll look for more plants to get more mixed up parts. I know what you mean often the plants do not fit to the table but it´s okay for some couple of hours working...
