Well my copy turned up yesterday and apart from the t-shirt giving me a complex about my weight everything was cool. Took it to the gaming club and got 3 games in with 5 players a game and had an absolute blast. Comedy moments occured with my survivor Josh standing 1 hex from a pile of walkers telling everyone it's fine I've got slippery I'll just walk away followed by pulling all walkers get extra action and Josh becoming Zombie chow; and my mate as Nick with a chainsaw walking in to 3 Fatties to bail out 2 survivors and with 3 attacks (5 dice each time) killing just 1 fatty with an understated 'oh crap' from said player. Tactics and teamwork won out in the end, and rule queries were usually quickly solved. All in all everyone had a great time and I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I wonder if they'll address the "T-Shirt Debacle"?

Probably not - though this doesn't bode well for the Relic Knights T-Shirt add on - I was on the fence about that one, it really would depend on the design.

But now?

Probably skip it regardless!

On one hand, yes, obviously, no big deal - it was a 'freebie' stretch goal extra - no big deal.

On the other, nothing like delivering what was promised - keeping the customer happy and all that crazy stuff!

That's because you have a fancy shirt to hold them with! I didn't get mine yet, but I take comfort in the fact that while your shirt was still being stitched together I was already slaying those zombies.

Then he's a fool. And probably, technically, making personal attacks, so...

Technically the "king of burgers" is the "Burger King" chain of restaurants. Maybe he's just calling you a creepy man that smiles as he hands people fast food...

Can't argue with that logic!

But... I can ask that everyone refrain from personal attacks, right?

This is so full of win that it will only be topped by my picture, taken some time in Q2 next year, of me wearing a much too tight Zombicide shirt with my gut hangin out and no room for zombies.

Project Update #70: Zombicide free companion iPad app now available!

Check it out here!

http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/zombicide/id557278582?mt=8

In a nutshell, it's a great companion dashboard that will keep track of your cards and XP.

If you've got an iPad, give it a whirl! Android version coming soon.

And there's no iPhone version planned (a bit too small for a companion app).

Would anyone be so kind as to post a few more size comparison shots with GW miniatures? (preferably IG, cheers )

I'm still waiting for my copy as I missed discovering Kickstarter until two days after it closed so had to order it the old fashioned way.

Toyz In The Hood has put up a game review for Zombicide

Also, design a scenario and win a figure contest

Permanent contest: create your missions with the Zombicide Mapeditor and stand a chance to win an exclusive Kyoko miniature !
Last week, we released the Mapeditor, the customized mission creator for Zombicide. What if your skill earned you an exclusive survivor?
Submit your best missions! The best will be published on a weekly basis, starting in december. Please send your missions to: missions@guillotinegames.com.
Winners will receive an exclusive miniature of Kyoko (survivor or "zombivor", your choice). Please note Kyoko will be available starting March 2013.

HERE ARE COUPLE OF TIPS!
• First of all, you need a story. What's going on? Zombicide is not only about zombie smashing, it's also a game where cooperation, challenge and imagination are rewarded.
• A standard mission has 6 gaming tiles which should take about 3 hours to play. Add or subtract 30 minutes per tile for game length.
• The more Zombie spawn tokens there are, the deadlier the mission becomes. Put 3 Zombie spawn tokens, then 1 per 2 Survivor after the first four (round up). Putting additional Zombie spawn tokens above this ratio will make the game more challenging and longer. Of course, the opposite will make it easier and shorter. Need space to put all the tokens? Feel free to stack them to double or triple the spawn rate at any given point!
• Match the Equipment and Zombie piles to suit your mission. Putting aside some weapons or Zombie cards will make a more immersive game for experienced players. You can also put chosen Equipment cards in specific Zones as Mission objectives.
• A Mission can begin at Yellow, Orange or even Red Level. Adjust the starting Equipment accordingly!
• A little hint: We prefer rectangular or square-shaped board. Not mandatory, but now you know!
Start designing!

Two things chaps;

Does anyone have XXXL Tshirt they want to swap for a XXL one

Anyone have any tips on taking Zombiecide out to the masses? Have you found it an easy sell/quick to teach game? I was thinking about taking down a club to see if anyone fancies a game but haven't really done the intro thing before. Anyones insights greatly appreciated.

Took it down my local club the day I got it and 6 of us played it for 5-6 hours and had a blast. Since then I've read the rules and we got a few bits wrong that may have made the game a little harder (not that it didn't get more than a little hairy in places) but the basics are easy as pie (brain pie) to pick up and when we ran into rule queries a quick look by a player not currently taking his turn sorted it out.

I've been asked to run demo games once it is ready for general consumption and reaches the store shelves.

I'm sure there was a XXXL.

I remember think about getting it then goin XXL as I guessed they were American sizes which are usually a bit bigger than here. Could be wrong though, too late now I guess. Especially as postage here cost $60, I don't think CMoN will bung one in the post either.

They released the downloadable campaign today -

http://guillotinegam...Campaign_EN.pdf

Description was -

"Achieved! Everyone gets a downloadable campaign, culminating in a scenario that will see the use of all additional promo Survivors, Fatties and Abominations! This will include a downloadable map tile, scenario rules and off the hook action!"

But it doesn't include the promised downloadable map tile which is annoying as that was one of the best things about it!
