Gymnogyps wrote:UNCLEBADTOUCH wrote:For the US they sent out the USPS tracking number with the FedEx link. As soon as USPS receive your parcel for last mile delivery then the tracking number you have should work with USPS tracking service, apparently :-s
Right, this is what USPS tells me on their tracking site:
Delivery status information is not available for your item via this web site. A return receipt after mailing may be available through your local Post Office.
So there really is no "tracking", as in there is no actual way to find out where it is currently, or know when it will be delivered. Oh, did I mention my local USPS is leaving things then not updating as delivered until well after the fact? Yeah found out about that yesterday when I was waiting for an item from amazon.com. It was sitting outside, in the rain, but tracking hadn't updated until several hours later to show delivered.
All I know is that my Sedition Wars package was apparently handed to FedEx and at some point will hot potato over to USPS, who may set it out in the rain unprotected to be ruined, but they will say it was delivered and what happens after that isn't their problem. Really sucks for a very expensive box of games and extras.
OK, so yeah, I'm more than a bit frustrated that evidently I need to revolve my life around my local USPS because they are being fething d-bags. Sigh. This isn't anything against CMoN, its just my USPS local branch are completely dysfunctional right now.
Edit- clarification
Try that tracking number on the Fedex site. I think I faced the same issue as you (tracking number from Fedex didn't work initially, tried it at USPS and got that exact message), and after a day or so the original tracking number started to be recognized by Fedex. I've been obsessively tracking my box for the past few days.
And related to that, I'm not AT ALL impressed with the speed of Fedex in this deal. As far as I can tell from the tracking info., my box arrived at a location less than an hour away from me and hasn't moved in 18+ hours. I know packages need to be scanned as they move from location to location, which takes time, but that seems sort of ridiculous. I could've driven down the highway, picked the damn thing up myself, and driven home 9 times over already...
I can reliably send a package with USPS Priority Mail and have it be in a residential mailbox almost anywhere in the country two days later - if the tracking info. is correct, Fedex has already taken twice that time, and there has been no accounting for the "SmartPost" handoff from them to the local USPS office. Ugh.

Thanks for that info, Gomez. Good to know it may be a little while and that tracking will likely start up at some point. Hopefully by then the rain will have moved on, and I will be OK with the world again. Edit - forgot to say, yeah, the "smartpost" thing is really very frustrating. I've had that same thing happen where something sits way longer than normal. Its like the Smartpost stuff is lowest priority. Sigh.
Its killing me to not be able to hold the goodies in my hands, though. Those painted versions are really nice!

I must be in the same batch of shipments as you - Fedex is saying Saturday. If that holds up, then my copy of the game arrived in the Denver area Wednesday morning and will take THREE FULL DAYS to travel 50 miles up the road to me. I could WALK to Denver to pick up my game in that time. Holy ****.
Fedex can bite me.

FedEx is working now, really, utterly insane route.
Says it arrived in a town 15 miles from me, and has since been shipped to another fedex site 160 miles away at a "smartpost". They're apparently going to ship it back here by wednesday.
That's really, really great... screw you, fedex.

Mine finally updated to delivery on Saturday... which means I will be getting it on Monday...
FedEx had it 10 minutes from me, but it made more sense to drop it off at a post office 40 minutes in a random direction, then drive it to my post office tomorrow.

Just in case and for your own peace of mind if your still waiting for shipping confirmation check your CKPM has definitely been confirmed - the order status should have a green box with confirmed written in it, (you'll most likely have PDF link as well even if you don't have a shipping number yet ) - if it doesn't you'll need to sort it ASAP as your product won't have be shipped until it is - I mention it as it's come to light on the KS comments that several backers haven't actually confirmed their order CMON still have Zombicude orders outstanding for the same reason.

I checked that. Order "Confirmed", and I can access the shipping manifest PDF, but FedEx cannot recognize the tracking data. Though like above, others in Michigan haven't received their stuff yet either. I guess it's just slow in coming.

Okay Michiganders: southern Ohioan here that just received his box today! Maybe tomorrow for y'all?
1st thoughts: i think the minis looks great. The detail is crisp and the restic is really nice. Are there mould lines? Yep. Are they easy to clean? Yep. Are they better than most PP restic? I think so. Will boardgames be irritated? Maybe, but are they even going to paint them? Honestly, I think the mould lines are about the same as the McCollough Infinity model I put together yesterday. I washed them just like I would any non-injected molded model and they cleaned up easily.
2nd thoughts: let me know if any of you get a 2nd hero bag. I'm missing mine :-/. Anyone have any idea who we should be contacting about this?

I’m sure glad GW is going to all plastic, so the ever-rising cost of white metal won’t impact the cost of their miniatures. |

Thought I'd share this. The example of the drone shown previously was being based on the upside down stand but I didn't care for that. I used a GW clear flight stand rod and mounted it on that by drilling down through the base using the existing hole as a guide. I then cut the small point off the end of the rod and it fit perfect.
and the clear GW flight stand rod minus the tip

Well, since the rulebook does not say there is a penalty to moving out of combat, it can be safely assumed that there is not one. Why would the rulebook have to explicitly state that a rule is not present for it to be clear that there is no rule regarding that?

Thanks for the info Dave! Now to get my heroes!
I did get a chance to paint up a model this evening. About 90 mins work in with cleaning and painting. Been a while since I picked up the brush so he's a bit rough. The model painted incredibly well. Used Krylon grey plastic primer. Went on beautifully.
Not entirely sure if the photos are working correctly.

Because it would lake sense to atleast be clear on it. It could he argued both ways and thus could have missed adding the rule. Also a problem with it stating when you take the reflexes. Before the model moves, after its movement, or during the movement. Models are great but the orgionization of the book and rules are jumbled and not clear
