Ironic that I'm the bloke who said an hour ago I didn't care when I got mine..

I recieved an email off UPS just now (1526hrs) saying its getting delivered tomorrow.

I live in Yorkshire, UK. So I would guess for limeys at least, almost all of them will be delivered by this time next week.

We are arming Syrian rebels who support ISIS, who is fighting Iran, who is fighting Iraq who we also support against ISIS, while fighting Kurds who we support while they are fighting Syrian rebels.

I hard nearly 0 extra resin/plastic to cut off any guys, and when I did, a simple box cutter from work did the job perfectly. Any complaints about it being to hard or needing some special super expensive knife si ridiculous. I have had tons more flash on GW figures then these guys. As for the freak-out of the quality, I think they are very well done. The marines are true scale, but I love that about them. It brings a sense of realism to it rather than GWs a space marine is as big as a guardsmen, vice versa. The detail is not GW standards, but it is up there. I knew this was a board game with minis before I pledged. So the quality of it is wonderful for what it is. Also, having many assembly side projects and painting projects going on right now, I am glad there is only a few different poses and not tons of body combinations. Id rather have this all in baggies where I just glue them to a base then customize them all.

Miniature wise 8/10 And I am very happy with this. The only two issues were my Grendlr bodies didn't 100% fit right and the special kara mini is too much like fine cast, and her back scabbard broke for being so frail.
I hope he sells baggies of the figures separate as some point as I would instantly buy more strain guys and some vanguard marines.

On a side note, has anyone hard or got an idea how this can be played in teams? 2v2 or something?

Sooo... Out of curiosity, does anyone know if the Battlefoam bags were included in this wave? They were listed as a November 2012 release, but I can't say I have seen any mention of anyone getting one with their game.

Yep that's same one that I got, we just got a weather warning of snow in the south west, so I'm betting it will snow and be delayed in delivering,
then it will turn up Monday when I'm at work , seems to par for the course so far.

Yes!

Just got word that mine has been delivered, and I'll be able to take a look during lunch today, which is in less than an hour from... now!

I'm cautiously optimistic that all will be well, and that I'll be satisfied with my 'investment'!

Lied would be the wrong word and while I agree this is getting blown a wee bit out of proportion (however frustrating it might be and I know - I was really hoping to get that package today :( ) - they failed to check/communicate on/about such a vital issue that I think they bear a share of that responsibility. A certain basic expectation of elementary competence in a vendor you spent several hundred bucks with goes without saying, IMO. I agree "lying" involves actual malice - which seems to not have been in play. They do deserve a craptonne of flak for this fethup, though. And some posts on the internet being hyperbolic well, last two times I cared to point that out and correct it it got me official warnings so meh, seems to be this should be expected

Good to have the Grendlr assembly guide posted by Mike and I am happy to see that hot water works so well to make the body halves and mouth fit. I think I will assemble one later today.

I'm another who got a tracking number, but the number is invalid per Fedex and not recognized by USPS either.

I really hope the post office doesn't decide to mess with me on this one. They've gotten weird recently. Last couple deliveries they've left stuff on the porch unprotected, in the rain, but didn't bag anything (which UPS and Fedex do standard)... stuff got soaked through. Fortunately the items just happened to be water resistant, but a book or paper based item would have been destroyed.

A call to the post office said the SENDER is responsible to protect parcels from rain damage. Uh huh. Not their problem, they are not responsible.

So I'm home now, hoping it shows today so I can prevent any rain damage. I really really hope it shows today.

Edit - moar words needed!

Looks like the reason UK handling may have been fethed is allegedly due to battlefoam handling the shipping from the UK. no surprise things go wrong when a company run by a snake oil merchant is involved.

For the US they sent out the USPS tracking number with the FedEx link. As soon as USPS receive your parcel for last mile delivery then the tracking number you have should work with USPS tracking service, apparently :-s

Uh, yeah, unless USPS has been holding my package since they got it and not registering the information, it's been off FedEx and USPS's records for two days now.

The tracking codes are the same lengths, so it's possible they're coordinated, but it isn't showing up, so a lot of good that does...

Since there are no rules against it, you are free to move out of close combat.

Folks that complain should work only one day in postal service and they would know what the real problem for such hickups is....

Right, this is what USPS tells me on their tracking site:

Delivery status information is not available for your item via this web site. A return receipt after mailing may be available through your local Post Office.

So there really is no "tracking", as in there is no actual way to find out where it is currently, or know when it will be delivered. Oh, did I mention my local USPS is leaving things then not updating as delivered until well after the fact? Yeah found out about that yesterday when I was waiting for an item from amazon.com. It was sitting outside, in the rain, but tracking hadn't updated until several hours later to show delivered.

All I know is that my Sedition Wars package was apparently handed to FedEx and at some point will hot potato over to USPS, who may set it out in the rain unprotected to be ruined, but they will say it was delivered and what happens after that isn't their problem. Really sucks for a very expensive box of games and extras.

OK, so yeah, I'm more than a bit frustrated that evidently I need to revolve my life around my local USPS because they are being fething d-bags. Sigh. This isn't anything against CMoN, its just my USPS local branch are completely dysfunctional right now.

So any body with enough experience with this type of material to answer a few questions? How bendy does it get when heated? Would I be able to repose some of the minis? I hate to have to many that are exactly the same.

Never mind, just watched the video, it looks like they get pretty bendy so I may have a go at some reposing.
