I've finally assembled all my models, and the only problems I've encountered are on the Grendlr models with the "mouth" piece not fitting in snugly and the halves of the body requiring gap filling.
Everything is damn good quality for the cost.
I'll take up-close pictures if there's interest.

Still have not received mine yet, but looking around the net I don't see what all the crying is about, except the usual Dakka sky is falling. The pictures I've seen look good, both naked and painted versions. The big issue seams to be with the Grendler, which was probably just an over reach, that beast looks like well a beast to put together well. That and whatever the problem is with the female arms.
They may appear a little small to people if you put them next to guard, but really when you put them up next to a space marine they look correct. I think it's GWs guard that are actually way too tall for the scale.

Ok an Update CMON about the UK/ EU deliveries, and it's bad news for the UK/ EU people.
I just got off the phone with the UK guys, and apparently we don' t speak the same version of English.
With the confusion over Karas, plus the custom containers etc, all boxes did not go out on Monday as we were originally informed - the UPS orders were prioritized first, with the Parcel Force later, with about 150 packages going out per day.
With a total of 1000+ confirmed EU backers, that means it'll take into next week to clear out the shipping with approximately 500 out the door so far. In order to increase the pace of it, we've asked the warehouse to hire an additional worker to assist with packing, and he's reporting in today.
UK backers will begin shipping now, and we're making sure that anything that gets shipped on the same day gets updated into the system so you'll receive tracking info, and don't need to wait for the postman. This is going out 24 to 48 hour Parcelforce, so hopefully some of you in the UK will get items by Friday or Monday, with the whole of the EU being properly served by next week if all goes according to plan.
This is our fault, this is the first time we're handling logistics with a 3rd party but we'll make sure there are no miscommunications for the 2nd wave of shipments to you guys. And yes, I am as mystified as you why Parcelforce got bumped to the bottom.
Please accept my humblest apologies for this additional (dumb) delay, and thank you for being patient with us while we work out the teething problems with our EU shipping.

Misinformation?
Sorry but they can only rely on what the warehouse tells them. And parcel services these day are sometimes a real mess (First in last out method anyone?)
Warped parts from a brand new line. Really?
This can happen on each line and has nothing to do with the age of the forms. Parts warp when they are taken to early out of the form and are still hot. Normally hot/cold water or carefull treatment with a quality hair-dryer will do the job.

@duncanidaho cool mini should have gotten the shipping numbers from the shipping agent, checked with the tracking number to make sure they where with the courier then sent the update. Cool minis validation process was non existent, this makes the misinformation their fault. The shipping agent didn't send the update. Those checks are the work if minutes so there is no reason not to do them especially when using a company for the first time.

Not at all, what you are referring to is lying, if i told somebody something that i thought was right but isnt i've still misinformed them.
Its unfortunate what has happened but at least with tracking numbers ill know what day it is arriving. Anyone know if the LTD Kara is going in with it now as its been delayed?

@duncan Idaho having worked in shipping I know that when you have an account with a courier you have the shipping numbers before the courier even picks them up. So there is no reason for them not to have the shipping numbers and to not have checked.

Duncan, may I ask why since the very beginning of this project you have taken it upon yourself to belittle and berate the other backers about their feelings and beliefs regarding the project?
Even when proven wrong about a particular issue, you just begin slamming another issue down someones throat and calling us whiners or telling us to deal with it or we should be fine with getting lied to and mislead by a company.
Claiming items have shipped and then saying they did not ship 4 days later is very underhanded and a sign of poor reliability. Given the fiasco with Zombiecide shipping, I hope nobody expected any different here.
As for you Duncan, my friend. Please, lighten up and stop trying to attack us for our criticisms. I can guarantee you, most of us probably pledged just as much if not more than you to this project then you and have every right to complain and be unhappy. If that makes you unhappy?

That has nothing to do with sending out tracking numbers, whether or not they will take days to update.
The EU/ UK backers were blatantly lied to, which raises concerns about the North America shipments. For example, if it was sent out last week, I really should have mine today.

If Duncan's sig is accurate, then my assumption is that he gets some work from companies to translate rules into German from English. This, almost by necessity places him in a position where he can almost only be far from impartial, and is not likely to criticise producers that will cost him future work. He's much more likely to defend them. Duncan, would you be willing to share some of who you've worked for and on what projects? I've wondered for quite awhile now, actually. Automatically Appended Next Post: As for CMON's UK shipping shenanigans, I'd be much more inclined to see the update as true - simple crossed wires, or if you're less kind, incompetence. There's no benefit to lying to their backers over a three-or-five day delay in shipping, especially after the extended wait we've already had, so I can't believe that there's any malicious intent.
At least you guys get acknowledged. Australia/NZ/RoW didn't even get a mention! I assume ours would have gone out from the US, but we don't appear to be getting tracking numbers or any of that fancy stuff.

It has everything to do with them confirming that everything had in fact been shipped out, which is what he was talking about. As you said, you can get a tracking number days before actually dropping off a package or getting it picked up, which makes it a bit difficult to get confirmation on everything like that.

Not only that, but based on the photos posted by Mike, that model is AMAZING.
I really don't understand what people are complaining about.
As to the UK shipping; it's their first time going through a EU distributor to get their shipping done. I'd hesitate to go into full blown accusatory mode. People have consistently complained about lack of communication on this project; well, they just gave us three updates within 8 hours. Two directly addressing concerns regarding the model fits and one directly addressing a newly found shipping problem. I think they should be commended, not condemned, for addressing them so quickly.
Just my bucket of nickels.

They started out with a tiny goal, and blew it apart into the millions. You can forgive numerous logistical feth ups surely?
Personally, I ordered it so long ago I don't much give a feth if it turns up this side of January. Just take a chill pill and paint something else?

Project Update #84: Rest of world (not EU, not USA) - not forgotten!
Posted by CoolMiniOrNot
Super quick update here, but yes the rest of the world stuff shipped from the USA should be getting USPS Priority Mail tracking numbers soon. If you logged in to the CKPM, saved everything and confirmed your pledge, then your stuff is out the door. If not, as login and confirm everything and we'll ship you next week.
For the curious, we are still shipping Zombicide backers who have suddenly appeared after going incommunicado (that's 4 months after the fact), so please work with us if you can to get you your stuff.

Wrong if its a prebooked number when it is at the courier hub it will be updated as received by the courier. I have experience with UPS, DHL, Parceline and TNT shipments and it worked this way for all of them. This way you have almost instant acknowledgement that something has shipped that can be checked.

So do I, but sometimes I didn´t get my tracking numbers in time, but this happens when you force your workers to work overtime for small payment. That´s the other side to parcel services. The guys getting the blame are most of the times victims of managment as well as the customers.
@being impartial
Oh as quite some of my clients could assure you I can get quite vocal regarding problems that could be avoided and stupid behaviour. And translation is only part of what I do. Normally we don´t hand out the names of our customers (actually no professional translator does that without the explicit agreement of the clients involved), but you can get a CV/portfolio if you book our services . Being quite honest may have cost me some clients, but it got me way more in the end. And as it turned out in most cases the ones I lost would have not being able to pay me anyway in the end. Since I do rely on paying clients it has become second nature to check the financial background of my clients and everything that goes with it. So extending this to projects I am not working on but have caught my attention is only a small step.
