They figured skorne didn't need anything

That did seem odd that there wasn't any real discussion for any faction's warcasters, or skorne at all

If Gargauntuans does the same as Colossals, there is only a new warlock and the Gargant. No new units for at least the main factions. Dunno about minions...

Ronin, there are units being announced, since Hordes is still a little behind Warmachine.

I believe it's 1 new warcaster for each faction (idk about minions), the colossal, and some units have been announced (in the video)

So there is an epic caster, a colossal, and something else, it seems to be a unit in every case but Skorne and Legion (they're getting a new beast).

There s a lot of rope on the constructs though isn't there? I thought they were stone, wood, magic and rope (ya know, like Cryx girls are sugar, spice, and some blighted taint of a dragon... or was it everything nice?)

My understanding (which is kinda supported by what they said in the video) is that Gargantuans is going to have a bit more material then Collossals, as they felt that the Warmachine factions are more developed at this point, while the Hordes factions could use a bit more fleshing out.

After all, just from that video we see that it looks like each faction gets at least 1 new unit.

Speaking of, I have mixed feelings about the Circle addition. It seems odd to have Tharn males with bows, when the Tharn women already serve as a the ranged pieces for that sub-sub-faction. I'm sure they will have some different rules to make them worthwhile (after all, they are competing not only against Bloodtrackers, but Reeves and Nyss Hunters), I'm just hungry for more info.

Also, it looks like the bow-tharn will be based off of the plastic Tharn kit that is coming out. More plastic (restic?) is always exciting!

Yea I don't get Tharn archers either... Circle has enough ranged options in general (you forgot the flying magic shooting shrimp things and arguably druids), and really infantry mashing ability over all with their melee tricks. I think a Tharn Ravager armor breaking unit would have been a lot more useful. It seems like the only good way to crack heavies with Circle is with our own heavies; a unit of Tharn with big ass hammers to smash through 'jacks would have been perfect.

Still hoping for circle character unit. Not much info for minions shamblers were preview @L&L even thought I don't play thornfall be nice if you a spoiler instead of just midas.

@Buzzsaw Not sure what to think of tharn archers but time will tell.

@Wehrkind Who knows we might get a skinwalker attachment/solo that might make them hit harder.

That's true HC, there is a reference to a skinwalker solo in Domination. We can hope! Brutal Charge perhaps? That would be tasty with CMA! Or maybe Gang!

Hmm, a UA would be something I could see, and the fact that skinwalkers are going plastic means that a lot of people are going to have them and be looking for ways to use them.

Honestly, while the concept art looks good for the new Tharn, I would really have liked to see resculpted Bloodtrackers. Actually, a core plastic kit that could be used for blood-trackers/weavers would be great (in the same way the new kit is going to be used for Ravagers and the new thingy).

Of course, there is plenty of time for this to pan out. I mean, they are still only showing concept art for the Archangel? Shouldn't it be done by now, the WIP picks that are floating around made it look nearly done. Although it might not be painted...

I wonder if the base for the Mammoth will come with all four quadrants marked instead of just the front two, so it can do the traditional Titan Butt Charge, because it's going to need to.

Actually, yeah. Kind of. They shoot a worm that reproduces by eating what they hit and the reproduced worm fires into the closest enemy thing. They get a few hits of successively smaller creatures via wacky bio superscience.

They specifically said at Lock and Load that Gargantuans would be a full book plus Gargantuans and Unbound.

Minions aren't getting a gargantuan, but they're the only faction getting two warlocks and hopefully they'll be getting more actual units than the rest of the book factions to help them catch up.

I didn't know people actually held models like that when they painted. I guess I'm too old---I have to practically nail my hand to the desk to keep it steady.

I think you mean and not even in death will you be useful to the faction. That witch doctor leading them had better have some pretty high utility abilities, the gatormen are already almost entirely an infantry focused attrition army. Adding another low power, fear causing, attrition based infantry unit would make two thirds of the armies infantry have the same role. Skorne will love 'em.

The hatred between trogs and gatorman run deep suprised new lock was a trog. I was hoping the new lock was gunna be a croak, someday...

If they're cheap and easily recoverable like most necromancer+skeleton units they'd be good for jamming a zone using maeloks tier list advance move.
