Hmmm... good job I am starting my new (better paid) job in a week's time

Edit: Unless it is their future stuff, or weird/steam punk stuff, which I am not interested in

With the exception of a handful of figures which didnt translate well into Bones that ended up with messed up faces and what not, I think it is less about a specific figure having problems and more about probabilities.

Even at a pretty good accuracy rate of say 99%, that will still leave two mistakes per order (on a per figure basis) if you just got the Vampire and no extras. A lot of orders were dead on accurate (mine and all the people I know personally were). With several million miniatures going out to several thousand customers, I am sure if you tallied the various packing goofs up, they would be spread out across the board.

Given the scope of this undertaking, the accuracy was pretty good, I think. I had 1 wrong figure out of, what was it, 240 minis in vampire? Plus $80 worth of extras. If I got 240 minis from, say, Privateer, I'd probably have to make a dozen claims to their customer service department.

Yeah, you're a couple days late- was spoiled during gencon. August 18th I believe.
Edit: There was a link a couple pages back where Reaper were taking suggestions on what to include with Bones 2. I'm not sure if they're still doing that or not.

Oh no! More Bones!

Time to start saving my boxtops.

Gods above and below, I've barely started on the first few hundred....

The Auld Grump... worst part? There are still some that I wish that I'd gotten the first time around....

They seem to be working late tonight! They emailed me back today, I emailed them back to clarify the part, and they got right back saying it was packed and ready to pick up.

Can't wait to finish up the model!

yup, you're shafted. Don't lie on those kinds of forms though; the few tenners it might save you is NOT worth the risk of a fraud conviction (and trust me, the one field where an offence worth less than fifty quid is still likely to get prosecuted is tax fraud. Government does not like folks holding out on them).

So. My one Bones problem was I got two left arms, no right arm for the super big undead dragon, whassisface, Kaladrax? Anyway I submitted the email, got the replacement (YAY Reaper I love you!). I was so happy, all was now right with my Bones!

I didn't want to misplace it. So I put it on the kitchen passthrough counter, a low traffic/use area. It was only gonna be there till I dug out the box.

It got knocked off, somehow. Nothing gets put there, but by odd coincidence, this one time, it was displaced.... right into the dog crate. The dog who refuses to gnaw on anything artificial. Except Bones, I came to find out.

Yeah that replacement arm is now a gnawed mess. Completely destroyed, unsalvagable.

I'm so disappointed now. Guess I will be repurposing the left arm spare into a right. don't wanna mess with fate and try to get a second replacement ...

Just send them another email and see how much it would cost to buy a replacement arm. They might not help, but it's worth a shot.

I'm finally going through my last pair of Vampire sets, and hopefully the Kalidraxes as well this weekend. I have a question, though - is Mr.Bones supposed to be included in the Vampire level pledge, or was/is he only available as a separate add-on?

Was he one per vampire, or one per pledge? For some reason I thought it was the latter?

I'm pretty sure he was one per pledge. I only got one anyway, with two vampires.

Yeah, he was one per pledge - whether you got 1 vampire or 5, you only get one Mr Bones.

Reaper could really do with some better non-US distribution, there's almost nowhere in the UK that sells their stuff.

SNM Stuff has just started to stock Reaper in the UK. No idea if you know them or not. I've gotten a pile of MIG washes and weathering powders and the like from them in the last year or two, and the guy is a nice bloke. I just got his latest newsletter and thought I'd pass the info on in this thread rather than the Bones2 one.

Initially, we have listed the top sellers from their iconic Dark Heaven Legends range, as well as the Legendary Encounters range of pre-painted ready to use plastic miniatures. We've also got the new Bones figures, produced as a result of one of the most successful Kickstarter funding campaigns ever, which will be listed over the next few days.

As time goes on, and we discover which of their figures you like the best, we're aiming to rapidly expand the selection we carry. It takes 4-5 weeks to get orders across the Atlantic, but if there is a particular figure they do which you would like, let us know and we can add it to our next order to them !
