The Swarmlord 280/ 460 with her guard, I thought about doing that in a 500 point game, but I didn't have enough left over for my one troops choice. So, I took 2 Trygons.

Well, if by troll you mean piss someone off, I'd say armies with mass infantry and slow players.
Then you have that situation and the player doesn't know their own rules.

Oh yeah I remember running an absolute cheese list...
500 pt tourney. Winner gets bragging rights (lolz)
I ran:
MOTF
scouts x5
scouts x5
Landraider Redeemer with multi melta
500 points on the dot!
My tactics were...
Everyone inside the metal bawks. Stay there till it blows up (which nothing penetrated it except psycannons hahaha)
MOTF repairs weapons etc hehehe.
First time I fielded this I went against a guard player with nothing but plasma vets hahaha. Couldnt even penetrate my raider.

Alright gentlemen, allow me to share my most troll worthy list. The reasoning behind it was my friend saying that my Tzeentch army led by alot of sorcerers and TS's etc etc was terrible and I couldnt make a fluffy list to beat his fluffy Crimson fist list (plenty of sternguard, canto etc etc) so I agreed to take on his challenge. My 1750 list was pretty much this- Sorcerer W/ Gift of chaos, MoT, two 9 man squads of TS's in rhino with gift aswell, and 25 Chaos Spawn. It was an objective game, so having his sternguard go crazy trying to actually get through so many spawn to even touch an objective was hilarious.

How is TSONs + sorcerers not fluffy? Did he only start crying about that since the new rules?

We never actually played the game. I just showed my opponent the printed army builder list, suggested that there was the possibility that Apoc needed more restrictions than are supplied in the books,
I don't think anything is going to top this one.

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."
This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

An IG army that never touches the ground until the last turn when the squads are dropped on to the objectives. Without objectives, it's just an army that never touches the ground.

Well, once I played a CSM army in an RTT as follows (3.5 ed codex):
2x Lieutenants on bikes with power weapon, daemonic strength, 9 minor psychic powers
5x 6 Daemonettes
6 Daemonettes on steeds
3 Obliterators
1 Defiler
The sole purpose of the minor powers was to roll ''siren'' such that the Lieutenants couldn't get charged or shot. So the Lieutentants turbo boosted in front of the enemy lines. Next turn, the Daemons arrived, game over after round 4 or 5.

We had a guy who took a master of the forge and ran 6 dreadnoughts in drop pods. You can see a sample of one of his lists here. The joke always was "He doesn't play space marines, he plays dreadnoughts".
Other trololol armies I've seen in the flesh include a guard army that had, seriously, like 12 PISs, none of which had any upgrades whatsoever. I've also seen the nidzilla of 2x tiny ripper swarm squads, a hive tyrant, and the rest of the points filled with monstrous creatures.
Probably the biggest "offender" I've done personally... well, for awhile, I used to run 1,000 points of nothing but power blobs along with a stripped down HQ choice.

Back in 3rd me and a buddy stopped by our flgs to pick up some paints. We had planned on spending the day painting up all our spare models. As we walked in, we found out that they were having a 500 point new player tournament and needed one more to fill the bracket. All I had was the schaefer's last chancers box.
Yes I played a 291 point squad of a dozen characters in a tournament. Was all good fun until I played the other ig player that had over 100 models.

Once decided to combine my Guard forces with a few friends. To make 2000 points we spammed all infantry. No special weapons at all, tossing in conscripts with Chenkov to add bodies with leftover points. I estimate that we had about 350 bodies total, with about 50 of those bodies being recyclable using SITNW. Casualties were horrific, but we won because we were able to plow through despite massive losses and capture almost every objective.
