I liked the concept art a lot - I'm not sold on the actual model so far...

I think my problems with the model can be summed up thus:

A: Face is a little too angular.
B: Bows look more like horns.
C: Drillhair is too small and too static. It needs to stand out more from her body.

A Christmas Day update - wow!

The Twelve Days of Relic Knights: Day Twelve
Update #74 ยท Dec. 25, 2012

Merry Christmas! For those of you who don't celebrate Christmas, we nonetheless wish you season's greetings and hope that your day is full of friends and family.

As we head into the final verse, we hope that all of you have enjoyed our run of previews and rules updates. We still have several months to go before launch time and we'll continue to post regular updates as we go. Lets get singing!

On the twelfth day of Relic Knights, Santa Soda gave to me -- a Cerci Speed Circuit, Royal Wrecker, the ultimate in raceway carnage clearing, now featuring improved grabby claws and rivet guns, putting the "wreck" in Roooooooyal!

It's like a Dreadknight but less cartoony.

On a serious note, I like it a lot as well

I was to choose between this and the serpent priestess and I chose this, I really wished I chose the priestess.

I don't like it all the extras added ruin it for me the massive tank behind it, the grabclaw seems just stuck there, I also do not like how they changed the legs from the concept to something tubular and thick and that the slave arms do not mimic the master arms.

Holy Carp! This looks really cool, and I hate the idea of a new game system with my core but this looks sweet and the no die rules are cool.

Looks good. Minor preference: wish the face was a bit fuller and not so gaunt. Hopefully looks better on the actual model.

The Corsair models haven't been all that great yet, which is weird. The Blowhard better look like the concept art...

Because her legs go into its legs, rather than hanging limply like the Baby-Carrier. There's a pic in the GK Codex that has a GK with his legs in the DK's legs (ie. when the Dreadknight design was smaller) and it looks great.

Has anyone had any success in adding additional items to their pledge?

I recently got into Super Dungeon Explore and would like to add some of them items to my pledge, but after 2 e-mails to CMON, I haven't gotten an answer.

It may be to late as in update 59 they said the pledge manager would be closed at the end of December

(and presumaby they are on Xmas/New Year break at the moment so might not be arround to un-lock a completed survey anyway)

and just to check, you are using the email address they provided for contacting them about KS stuff?

kickstarter@coolminiornot.com

as they don't really look at the KS contact messeges one the KS ends

The first e-mail was well before Christmas. The second one only a few days ago. Hopefully I'll get a response.
And yeah, I used that kickstarter e-mail.

Keeping my fingers cross. I'm loving all the 12 days of Christmas things!

New batch of sculpts coming through:

There's a whole lot going on here at Soda Pop HQ as we work towards launch. The rulebook, sculpting, and mold making are humming along, so it seems like a perfect time for another batch of model updates!

Lets start off with with the Shattered Sword Paragons. These mighty paladins are some of the most renowned warriors in the universe, and they will be in the thick of the fighting as the Darkspace Calamity seeks to consume the Last Galaxy.

"The 75mm gun is firing. The 37mm gun is firing, but is traversed round the wrong way. The Browning is jammed. I am saying "Driver, advance." and the driver, who can't hear me, is reversing. And as I look over the top of the turret and see twelve enemy tanks fifty yards away, someone hands me a cheese sandwich."

So long as the rest the Shattered Sword match the Paragon in design and quality, I'll be happy.

If they had these images to show earlier, I'm thinking more people would've gone with Shattered Sword.

I almost dropped Shattered Sword before I decided to do the grab-all plan. Glad I stuck with them now.

Welp, not regretting not getting Void Reaper, except of course for his cypher. That thing is adorable.

Shatters Sword Purifiers are up. I continue to be glad I pledge for this faction.

Very glad I got 2 sets of these (I had to check my CKPM to make sure) - whilst the regular Shattered Sword troops are a bit plain the special stuff is well a bit special.

I keep wondering if I could cast Candy's sword in brass or just heavy aluminum and then magnetize it so I could use it as an actual can opener. That would be awesome.

And really liking the purifiers! The previous concept pics of the faction didn't really do it for me, but the more I see, the more impressed I am!

The face on the first purifier is a frightening thing. The Void Reaper and other Purifiers are impressive and I'm looking forward to seeing them in the plastic.

Also, anyone want to start a new thread for this in news & rumor? I believe under the new Dakka policy we're allowed as much.

Please do - but whoever does it, please commit to updating and changing the title via the first post, please!

Void Reaper looks great. Candy & Cola are pretty cool. Marie-Claude is growing on me (although I doubt she'd like to hear someone say that about her, 'cause it sounds kinda icky!).

When's this stuff coming again?
