I'm not a big fan of the Sprue Swords really... But the Axes look nice
And as usual, awesome fluff is awesome with a side dash of awesome.
I want you to get a big beasty though!
Like a Krootox, or Carnifex or something awesome !

There's something for everybody.
There is more to do on the swords and a lick of paint will work wonders all over.
Thanks.

Their time will come... Sadly I only have two hands to work with.
I am just as eager as any of you out there waiting for something in particular, to get round to, and see complete all those things that I haven't done yet...

Looking better?
of course it does... you´ve won me over now!
i think the rest will be difined by your paintjob... more and you would probably overdo it with that piece ...
the putty work now brings it all together...tho... i have a slight feeling that if you would add such an exhaust that ork chainswords have this item would be finally complete... but i think i could aslo live without it
and yeah... the eagle... ach... i need to see to that soon... but this millenia... airhsip^^

Cool, thanks. Glad you like.
I'll have a look and see if I can fit an exhaust but it may end up a radioactive battery (although, thinking about it, that may need a vent...)...a cold fusion battery then...
Maybe, you could turn that Eagle head into the beginnings of a steampunk Ornithopter...? That's such a good idea, I may go and post that in your thread as well... Airship first though, be a good boy, off you go.

But it's such a good idea. Just imagine a giant, gleaming, bronze and golden metal Eagle swooping about the battlefield...
Yeah, I won't force the exhaust on. If it fits, it'll be on.

I like that Axe. It is quite sharp looking! I fear it maybe dull of me to say your detail is a lovely addition. Perhaps my point is that axe is simply superb. I need to axe a question however, but I forgot what it was; I guess you could say I am at the wrong end of the blade here. I really just gotta bring the axe down here and chop away the chit chat. I am losing the handle of the situation here.
What other parts do axes have again? I am out of puns..

Vik
No major update today, I've added the small wires to Axe 1.2. Not really worth showing, it's much like the other axe and you will see it once the next stage of putty work is done.
On that note, Good News:
I finally found a shop that actually sold colour shapers,
and had them in the right size,
and in the right shape,
and sold them in singles and not in packs of 5...
So I picked up a couple, this should enhance my putty-fu or at least make my life easier...
Below is a picture that shows the new arrivals next to what I've been using up until now.

Yeah, I look forward to trying these out. I've been hearing so much about how good they are for putty and I've only seen huge ones in the shop I usually stopped in.
I got the pointy one for poking holes and things, and that's proper round holes not the rough divots that the scalpel gave me.
and the soft, flat one for smoothing and doing straight lines etc...
Good luck with yours.

Ok, Lame puns are mentioned. So long as I'm not expected to use puns all the time, because I find them really hard to carve out.
It's important, whatever you are doing, to have a good pointy stick of some kind.

No worries, you'd have to try hard to upset me (like the crane-fly that's buzzing me and then disappearing before I can do anything about it )
I shall throw some putty about tomorrow and see how the new tools work and I'll let you all know.
Now where did that clumsy flying poor excuse for a fly go...
