Sorry to hear about your woes my friend. I can empathize with the shoulder. Have developed significant arthritis in my left shoulder, which has a lot of the same issues that yours has... though I might be a bit farther down the line. Stay as positive as you can and keep those creative juices flowing! (I've heard they can help lubricate your joints!)

Thanks aku'. Yeah, it's not been great. But has settled down now.

Thanks Gits'. From how my parents are aging, I have arthritis to look forward to. For now, temporary but long-term ailments are where I am.

More medical details:
Spoiler:
The shoulder is improving slowly, I can now lift fairly heavy things without pain, still not reached full range of motion.
Teeth have been fine, no more issues there.

Of the 3 internal issues that were being looked at, it's possible that only 1 of them is the source.
So far avoiding probable triggers has led to no more pain episodes.
But awaiting to hear about what is to be done with the source issue.

And looking into these has shown up another problem from blood tests, but that can be managed with a diet change for now. Maybe pills later.
This should also prevent the above issue getting worse.

There will be a new creative project unveiled in my other blog soon. Click here
And with that done, I am free to return to the Necron project here... soon-ish.

Thanks CB.

Quick modelling update as I just tried some out for the first time today since you last saw me.

Starting the bulking out of the Sanakan Safeguard Necron conversion.

Life / Medical update:
There will be medical and bodily functions mentioned.
Spoiler:

I am now 6 weeks post-op. All seems to have gone well.

How did we get here?
Following on from the last update; I was still waiting to find out what exactly was wrong.

It was found that gallstones were causing issues.
Avoiding triggers was working well, until ~8 weeks ago.
I spent a week in increasing pain, especially after eating. And on top of that, no stools that week.
Went into A+E on the Friday.
They eventually concluded it had escalated to Pancreatitis (which can paralyze your intestines) and I was admitted to a ward.
Where I waited for an operation.
In the mean time I had my first CT and MRI scans.
Otherwise I spent the week in bed, either in pain or on good painkillers.
Rarely moving, not eating (as it caused stomach pain), and still no stools.
Was passed over for an operation twice but the offending gallbladder was finally removed and I was out the next day.
With the help of laxitives I eventually deposited something after 13 days.

Since then, no pains.
But I lost a lot of my muscle mass (not moving or eating for a week can do that).
So been slowing building up to my previous walking routine, almost back to normal this week.
And now I'm allowed to lift heavy things I can start my weight lifting again.

Fitness will return slowly.

But I have proved that I can return to models, if only I can draw myself away from the computer games.
BG3 is partway through my 10th playthrough.
Just completed Outer Wilds.
And I've started Pacific Drive.
While also dipping into Assetto Corsa EVO.

Thanks for your patience.
I'll return soon...ish.

Thanks Cam', Graven'. Appreciated.
I have been generally fine since, and have just been spending time for myself without being ill or in pain.

Just completed a sculpture for the other blog, so no progress here.

But I just wanted to wish you all a Happy Christmas and a merry new year.

I will return.
