So I'm starting to wonder if this KS will be slipping to a January+ 2013 arrival time as Sedition Wars and DreamForge has.

Really aiming not to

We said 95% of everything shipped by the end of the year, and I think that is a very close estimate. Council, Sector and Chief Judge pledges have started shipping this week, and will continue to do so right up to Christmas, I am expecting (there is rather a lot of you, and just about everyone wanted something different ).

Come January, we are expecting to be finishing up the 'odd' orders we got, and turning round the last of the models from our sculptors.

Apologies for lack of update thus far - the storms in the US meant we only just (today!) received two week's worth of restocks, and I figured you chaps would prefer we got stuff out rather than mess around with updates This week's update is going to be delayed for a day or two, as I hope to have a really spiffing preview for you, and some good news for 2000AD fans...

So you're UK based, but the figures are cast in the US?

That is correct - our warehouse and miniatures production facility is in Kettering, Ohio, while we are based in Swindon (Wiltshire).

Here is something of an experiment.

Got a 3D Printer? We have just uploaded HMS Achilles and Walter the Wobot as STL files on Wargame Vault;

http://www.wargamevault.com/product/108286/Walter-the-Wobot
http://www.wargamevault.com/product/108280/HMS-Achilles-1939-1-1800-scale-w-Integrated-Base

If you do not have a 3D Printer, we also have these models (and the MTBs) up on Shapeways;

http://www.shapeways.com/shops/mongoose

Now, I cannot recommend the normal 3D printing here - it is expensive and the final quality will not match the gorgeous miniatures you can get from us. However, if you are looking for a gold-plated or solid silver Achilles or Walter, these are your guys!

We will be posting all of our 3D models on both of these sites as they are released, so by the time you get a 3D printer (well, we will all have them in a few years, right?) there will be a huge choice of Mongoose miniatures available for you!

Got a box from Mongoose today. 6 Boxes of Dredd figures. Leaves 1 of the currently-produced boxed sets outstanding, plus three of the newer ones, plus extras from stretch goals.

My wife's still has 6+4+stretch boxes to come. Hopefully they arrive soon.

Both Walters came, which is a good sign towards them having both of our orders.

Another box from Mongoose today. 5 more boxes of Dredd. That's the 7/10 of the produced kits from my pledge sorted. Wife still needs 2x Holocaust Judges and then we're just waiting on the newer boxed sets and stretch goals.

Anyone else gotten anything yet? This thread is unusually quiet on people getting their toys...

I've had a lawmaster and a walter so far - I did a fair bit of messing around with my pledges so figured it might be a wait I have had several small packages of other orders I have placed with them since, was impressed at the speed they got those out to me with all the running around they must be doing to get the KS sorted.

Well, a couple more boxed sets inside one box, to make it clearer. 3 in total.

Mine are being sent from the UK, yours should be USPS from their local branch, or am I getting confused again?

I didn't get anything yet.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

The recent update indicated they've mostly finished shipping the produced stuff and everyone should get the first round of things by the next few weeks. Since I jumped in after the KS ended (thanks Matt!) I'm guessing mine was literally the last one shipped, lol.

As much as I love Dredd, having read 2000AD since 1981, the story that really started me being a regular was Rogue Trooper with the DIX-I storyline in 1982. I'm interested in what a game of that could be like.

I like the idea of doing solo missions with Rogue including the possibility of planning where to position Gunnar, Bagman and Helm to achieve an objective.

Rogue Trooper was also the first story I read that had GIANT tanks.

Then you'll be happy to know this:

Mongoose Publshing wrote:Rogue Trooper
As you should have heard by now, we are currently planning a new Kickstarter for 2013, to create the Rogue Trooper miniatures game. Some of you have expressed concern that we should be looking at this while some of you still have not seen any goodies from the last - again, don't worry. We won't go forward on this until the vast majority of everyone's goodies are in their hands. We are currently predicting that by the last week of January we will just be waiting for the bikers and the odd vehicle to return from the prototypers, so that seems like a good time to do it. If this changes, we will let you know.

As for what the Rogue Trooper game will contain... well, that will be the focus of my time off across the Christmas break, as I get into the nitty-gritty of the rules (we already have a very good idea of what models we want to produce for it).

The game is going to be based upon our Origins Award-winning system used for Starship Troopers and Battlefield Evolution, though with some updates (it is not completely dissimilar to the Judge Dredd miniatures game, except that concentrates on small skirmish actions between characters, while Rogue Trooper will handle units). Game sizes will vary very easily between Rogue vs. a squad, to entire companies clashing, buit neither will take much more than an hour or two to play through.

Typically, you will build up forces by platoon, with a leader and two squads as a minimum for most battles, then add 'special' bits - Raiders on Stammels, Carter-class tanks, Rogue himself, and so on. While the Southers will concentrate mainly on solid, dependable units, the Norts will have access to all sorts of 'secret' and 'special' weapons, as they always seem to be trying something new in the comic strip!

We are taking a good look at Nu Earth (and beyond!) itself too, as there will be all sorts of terrain tha players will be able to take advantage of/be advised to avoid.

If you are just wanting a few collectible miniatures or want to refight the entire Nort/Souther galactic war, you will want to take a peek at all this! We are taking lessons learned from the Judge Dredd Kickstarter project, and applying them to Rogue, so you will find the pledges cfar easier to get to grips with and, importantly, the admin will flow much easier on our end, meaning you will get models in your hands even quicker than you have with Dredd!

You in the US? Waiting for a Council or Sector pledge level? If a package is not already on its way, it will be going off to you this week.

Thanks Matt! Yup, I just assumed I would be the last one shipped, since you let me pledge after the KS ended and it would be only fair to ship the first backers first, so no worries.
