A few weeks ago, I was playing a friendly game against a pair of guard players and I had a Vanilla marine player as my ally. 750 points per player. Our armies were annihilated except for the Emperor's Champion, running around all by his lonesome. He then proceeds to hack his way through 55 Guardsmen, a Leman Russ and a Primaris Psyker. He won the game for me. No one believed what they were seeing, The EC was impervious to harm as well. The game ended with the Champion standing before a lone guardsman.

One more mention: my Triarch Stalker has killed a good few models, but the two that stand out are Vulkan and Feugan, who both died to the multi-melta firing mode of the heat ray. Who is the melta-king now, bitches?

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

I've had all my plasma weapons in my SM army get hot in one turn, and I failed all the saving throws.
I also lost a Predator, Rhino, and Dreadnought in the first turn's shooting phase against Eldar. I get my turn, and I'm already down roughly 400 points, with a melee heavy infantry blob that's got a loooong walk across the table. Remember the final Confederate charge in Gettysburg? Kinda went like that. Most epic gak-kicking I've ever been on the receiving end of.

My buddy and I were getting ready to play an impromptu 2v2 game against a couple guys at our flgs. We were BA and nids, they were tau and SW. As they were setting up my buddy and I stepped back to talk strategy. After a seconds thought he says "Balls to the wall. Lets just go straight at them." Possibly the funniest thing ever. Now whenever we try to strategize our first comment is 'balls to the wall'.

This just happened to me in a game that ended only an hour ago. 2 vs. 2 consisting of Tau and Tau w/ Eldar allies against CSM and C:SM.
I really just want to point out that the combined ages of the armies is like 13 vs 4.
A buddy and me were the Tau players and the Chaos player is fairly new, his last army being Necrons, and Grey Knights before that. C:SM guy was cool.
Tau go first and the very first shots fired was against a flying lvl3 demon prince with the dark mace. Marker lights force it to ground and one railgun instant kills it. (It does not get better for them from here)
Their turn one is highlighted by a Master of the Forge assaulting a unit of 8 firewarriors and getting killed off by pulse rifle shots.
By turn 3 we killed off an obliterator, two units of stern guard, three dreads, and a deep striking Termie squad.
At this point we had lost 4 suits, 12 firewarriors, and one tetra.
But the highlight to the whole game is the sheer amount of butt frustration from the chaos player. "Chaos got so nerfed!" "Demon princes are so worthless!" "I'll never play against Tau and Eldar again, way too overpowered!"
By far the most hilarious game I've ever played against a codex hopper.

I'm expecting an Imperial Knights supplement dedicated to GW's loyalist apologetics. Codex: White Knights "In the grim dark future, everything is fine."
"The argument is that we have to do this or we will, bit by bit,
lose everything that we hold dear, everything that keeps the business going. Our crops will wither, our children will die piteous
deaths and the sun will be swept from the sky."

Last round of combat and my Emperors champion and a vindicator without a demolisher cannon (Weapon destroyed) are all that remains of my army.
The Enemy has a squad of howling banshees and a squad of 3 guardians left.
Knowing that I had no chance of winning my champion charges the guardians and kills all of them without taking a wound.
My gunless Vindicator tank-shocks the remaining banshees, they fail their moral test and run away (Not before failing a 'death or glory test' and reducing the squad to 4 models. The squad then continues run straight off of the board.

A few weeks back I was playing against a vanilla marines army with my Salamanders, and I had a tactical squad drop pod in and combat squad, with the sergeant and 4 bolter marines. The combat squad rapid fires on a five man squad and kills them all, then in the following turn the combat squad is killed to the sergeant, who then runs across the board in an attempt to prevent giving a kill point. The sergeant runs across a Razorback containing a Captain and a combat squad, plants a melta bomb on it and explodes it, killing 3 men . The sergeant survived that game, and has managed to survive seeming impossible odds in other games such as facing down a rail rifle toting squad of pathfinders and surviving, and destroying vehicles with Krak grenades all on his own, leading me to believe he's the Master Chief of 40k (Green, Mean and stupidly lucky )

Another funny thing that happened to me. i had a squad of Nob Bikers assault a Monolith, and fail to destroy it.
The Necron player uses the Gate thingy (whatever it is that sucks things in on a STR check) out of 10 models, including my warlord, 2 fail their checks. other than those 2, (who were base nobz anyway) the highest i rolled was a 2. it takes my opponent the rest of the game to reduce the bikes to where i needed to hide them from his guys.

So, I'm playing a small friendly game with my friend, me Dark Eldar Versus his Necrons.
He charges his Overlord and his accompanying Warrior retinue into my Squad of Incubi with my Archon. I challenge his Overlord with my Archon, which he accepts. He makes all his saves against my Huskblade, and cuts down my Archon. My Incubi make short work of the warriors around the Archon, who in turn the Overlord makes short work of the incubi.
Meanwhile, my squad of kabalites were forced to disembark a raider after it became wrecked by Gauss fire, and my Wracks charged the Warriors after the Warriors shot at them a bit to avenge the lost Raider. Now, my friend menacingly moves his Overlord, with only one wound left, towards me and charges the Kabalite Warriors. I roll for overwatch fire against the Overlord, rolling poorly...
Except for one . One brave Kabalite stood up and kept his composure in face of certain death, aiming down his sights with grim precision...
He then rolled a 5 to wound. My friend laughs, thinking the 2+ save will allow him to shake off the shot...
Then, the Dice Gods smiled upon this Kabalite, for he had done them proud this day, and my friend rolled a . He then tries for Reanimation protocols... another .
That Kabalite Warrior now lives as the bravest member of first squad. Best part is, the model is actually posed towards where he is aiming down the sights of his rifle.

Hmm... awesome/hilarious moments.
A unit of Seraphim with a Palatine jumping in behind a Stompa at the Stompa Release event game, failing to scratch it... being ignored... double-tapping inferno pistols (you could do that in 4th - fire twice if stationary). Now, this is a tank-hunting Seraphim squad. That's two dual inferno pistol, a plasma pistol, meltabombs all round and a BS5 inferno pistol on an attached independent character. Double-tapping, with the dual pistols acting twin-linked for five meltagun shots. Take all but 1 Structure point... so I fire up Spirit of the Martyr, assault, and clamp 11 meltabombs to the thing.
The Stompa explodes. Rolls maximum distance for apocalyptic blast. Kills everything on the table, except for Eve (my Seraphim Palatine), and my Exorcist (which is now armed with only a storm bolter).
Another good one for my Sisters. Back when I started out with them, I didn't have enough actual Sisters models, so I used some old Guard metals (Steel Legionnaires) I had as Inquisitorial Stormtroopers. A squad of Stormtroopers with Hellguns, led by a Sergeant with a Hellpistol and a chainsword takes a charge from a unit of 10 Generic Lesser Daemons disguised as Plaguebearers. The Plaguebearers do nothing. The Stormtroopers strike back... and wipe them off the board.
I had two from one Apocalypse game, another time. My first time fielding Laevantine, my inferno gun-armed Baneblade sees 6000 points of railgun-heavy Tau firing everything they had at it and bouncing off or missing for two whole turns. On the third turn, 4 Genestealers assault it, rip the main gun off, cripple the engines, and leave it for dead before sweeping into the guard platoon it was protecting. The next turn, my Living Saint descends upon the battlefield to intercept Anng'rath, the Exalted Bloodthirster. She drops a Vortex Grenade on his head, taking off two wounds, then puts everything she has into assault, activating Hand of the Emperor. She's striking last against I9 or something crazy anyway, so I figure why not go for broke?
Ang'grath casually reaches back and swats her out of the sky.
So, next turn... she comes back for another go! and gets grabbed by his whip and slammed into the ground.
So, next turn... she tries again, and he swallows her whole.
So, next turn... she appears on the other side of the battlfield and starts slaughtering fire warriors. Angrath assaults a Guard platoon holding out backfield objective... and promptly gets run over by the vortex grenade, vanishing into the warp along with the guard squad, and the objective he was standing on, losing us the game.

My first game ever:
Me as Necron VS. my friend as Dark Eldar.
One of my 5 man immortal units came into close combat with a squad of Hellions. I lost the battle and only had two Immortals left, which also resultet in a failed Leadership Test. It was close combat so he made his Sweeping Advance.
Since Hellions have Inititative 6 and Immortals have Initiative 2, my only chance was him rolling a and me rolling a .
So we started rolling!
He started and rolled a .
So i was to roll a . BUT! I rolled a 5, so that was a draw.
Reroll!:
We rolled at the same time.
I rolled a and he rolled a again! The Immortals outran the Hellion!

I play ork, so that's a sure way to get lots of laffs out of games, especially since I love the Shokk Attack Gun. And two of my best moments involve that weird gun.
1-In my first game ever, my big mek fires his SAG at a unit of necron immortals. I roll Double-5 so Zoink, the mek teleports in assault alone against 5 nasty necrons. My foe grins evilly as the odds are stacked in his favor... And my Big Mek wrecks two immortals with a wrench, suffers no wounds, the soulless machines then run away in fear! (Away from an objective, to boot) The whole game he kept failing various morale checks despite his Ld 10, pure improbable hilarity.
2-More recently, I fielded an Imperial Armor 8 Junka, an odd little tank that can equip a deffrolla and a Shokk Attack Gun. Facing some tyranids... I had to change position through a crater and manage to immobilize my junka by rolling a double-1 on the difficult terrain, so the deffrolla didn't help. Oh well, I fire the SAG at the Doom of Mal'anthai... and roll a Double-5 teleport result, so the Doom was, improbably enough, rammed by a deffrolla set on an -immobilized- tank! The tyranid player's comment: "Your Junka must be equipped with an improbability engine."

One more I forgot to mention. Tau vs Orks back in 5th, my two broadsides were in a ruin on turn 1, and the Ork player hadn't hidden his SAGmek well enough, so one of the broadsides could see him standing in another ruin. I went first, fired one shot from the broadside, and turned the mek into red mist.
I imagine the broadside casually firing a single railgun at it, watching it evaporate, and then going back to chatting with his teammate.

500pt mini-skirmish, GK versus Thousand Sons, under the old C:SM and the old Daemonhunters book. Thousand Sons and PAGKs murder each other, Sorcerer Gifts the Grand Master, and the game draws to a close with one Aspiring Sorcerer and one Chaos Spawn on the table.
